You mean like "Mommy dearest"? Or the Paris Hilton type - "HotMama"?

You guys seriously cannot come up with anything more original? The three of you are some of the most witty, sarcastic people here! Shame on you!

I was actually quite proud of "mommy dearest", but I'll try again, too.

Soooo... thanks to my wonderful husband, I am checking into the Marriott for the night! I have been hinting that I need a night to get away from the house, the baby, the phone... I cannot wait. I plan on spending the night taking a bubble bath, sleeping for at least 14 hours, and having an amazing dinner.

But before I go, I will put in my MF order so I can re-start this Saturday. I was going to push it off until 3/2 because I am having a small dinner party on 3/1 and did not want temptation. Do you guys think I should wait, knowing my past?

Snuffaluffamommy,

If this time is really different, and you are motivated, you can get through a dinner party. If this is just the same old, same old, then I guess you should wait. Only you know where your head is.

I can only tell you that when I was ready, I was REALLY ready and started right before the holidays. Nothing was stopping me.

Hope you have a restful and relaxing evening.

No advice from me......only you know what you can and want to do. I kind of wonder, since you asked here about it, that maybe you don't wish to start before your dinner party? Only idea I can offer is that you make sure you have plenty of compliant L & G options as part of your dinner and make something for dessert that won't be hard for you to turn down.

Enjoy this evening.

My mom is very overweight and gets upset if we do not all eat with her. Seriously. I know it is selfish, but she will look at me with a disappointed look if I opt to eat something healthy. She thinks that unless we are all eating crap, we are holding back and not enjoying ourselves.

One time we went to Macaroni Grill and I got the Simple salmon with an extra order of asparagus. All night long, she kept saying " I don't know why you're dieting today, this food is soooooo good. You can't even have a small piece of bread? I'm going to order you a Bellini, that should be ok with your diet."
