Beth, it sounds like you work with some real high class people. Consider the source(s) and try to just let it go. Their opinion matters about as much as they do....You are making healthy and wise choices for yourself. Those people would find something else to make snide and snotty comments about even if you weren't doing MF. Rise above it.

Ok, my husband has been prowling around all morning looking for the perfect elliptical for me. It is the Life Fitness X1. It got pretty good ratings online.

Cool! I am very uncoordinated so I look so funny on an elliptical. I pedal backwards.

Oh my f------- ----.

I just ate my 2 PM Chocolate Mint bar. Halfway through, I looked down and saw that the freaking mice ate through it. I ate half a bar before I noticed that the wrapper was bitten open and bites were taken from it.

I am so scared that I caught some horrid disease from this.

Okay Beth - the mice thing is gross but I am sure you will be fine. I hate mice - we had them once in our old house and I threatened to move out. One time at work - one part of my building was under construction and a mouse came running down my aisle - I literally jumped on a chair - I felt like Lucille Ball. I never expected myself to have that kind of reaction.

Don't people at your work eat oatmeal?? I am sorry that you get those kinds of reactions. People are just insensitive. I mean come on - it's just oatmeal.

I have a Norditrack Elipitical and I love it. However, I have not used it lately because it takes everything out of me. They give a wonderful workout.

Well I hope you have a pleasant night and that everything bad that has happened today will be all forgotten - can you take a bubble bath - Calgon take me away....LOL!!

Sorry to hear about the mouse thing... :( I'm sure you won't get any disease from it, assuming you didn't eat where they had bitten which it sounds like you didn't. Guess it's time for some plastic storage containers eh?

So far no signs of mice problems or any of the dreaded disaease associated with them.

Well, I am so friggin busy and have been working 11-hour days for weeks to earn vacation time. My diet is taking it's toll. Let's face it. I am not going to be 125 pounds by next Thursday.

I plan on taking a new outlook when I return, however. I just spent about $5000 on home workout equipment, and that along with MF, I should finally reach goal in the next few months.

For now, I am having shakes when possible and having normal lunches and dinners. I am too busy and crazy right now and it has been a pain to keep the fridge stocked with veggies and meats for my L&G. When I get back I can return to my 6:00-2:30 schedule and have time to prepare a perfect L&G and to exercise. Everything is too crazy now.

So I am off plan until I return. Expect to see a new me when I get back!

I hate it when life gets crazy. It's hard to see the forest or the trees.
So get on with your vacation and have fun 8)

Have a great time! You'll be fine as long as you still keep an eye on your carbs, I went on vacation last year for a week and only gained 4 pounds and that was gone two days after getting back on the plan. See you soon!
