I'm with Biki, you don't sound like a brat at all! Heck, why do you think I gave up on WW? I just couldn't stay motivated at a rate of 1.4 lbs per week! :roll:

I started medifast and joined the forum last year just after Falisamarie. She absolutely blew past me losing weight! I kept comparing my (seemingly) slow losses to hers and others who were steadily losing 3 to 5 lbs a week. I thought I was the only one here losing slowly but after reading lots of posts, I realized I was not alone.

Even though I'm losing slower than a snail's pace now I keep myself motivated by thinking about where I was this time last year. Past losses can be just as motivating if you never let yourself forget where you came from! And of course, don't lose sight of where you want to be.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, you aren't alone, there are other slow losers here who understand how you feel. Good luck Beth!

And by the way, your little boy is sooo cute!! Obviously gets his looks from his beautiful mom! :mrgreen:

I just wanted to clarify my screen name for those of you who think that "Dark and Stormy" is my mood!

I am a HUGE horror movie fan- I own about 450 horror DVD's! One of my favorites is "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and the actors all shared a drink called the "Dark and Stormy". I also love thunderstorms- as soon as the sky gets dark, we turn off the lights, light the candles and watch the storm from our house.

Just in case anyone is interested, here is the drink recipe:

DARK AND STORMY
1 part Dark Rum Of Jamaican Type
2 parts Ginger Beer
Lime Wedge

As far as MF, I am back on plan, 1.6 pounds away from getting back into the 30# club again...

I know I had some mishaps in the past two weeks which may have ruined my weight loss- but I ALSO did awesome when faced with parties and dinners. I showed strength and willpower that I never had before. I guess that is why I thought I deserved a nice loss, even though I accidentally had fajitas. When I had such a tiny loss, I freaked.

Sooo. I just received my Banana Republic pants in SIZE 8 and they fit wonderfully on me! So much that I just ordered another pair in another color! I have not been a size 8 since.........I don't even know when!
