You guys are cracking me up!!!!!

I was actually doing that- blinking and flaring in the mirror. My husband had to make me stop!

So, I had a *minor* cheat yesterday. My mouth was really sore and I was in need of hot salty liquids to make it feel better. So I had Lipton Noodle Soup.

After that, I went right back on track without missing a beat.

Today all the pain is gone and I am completely back on plan. I can also blink and flare my nostrils! YAY!

You should call Lipton and tell them so they can add that to their advertising.

Well, no problem getting back on the wagoon after <slightly> falling off yesterday due to my toothache.

Tonight's dinner is 5 oz lean London broil with homemade hot bruschetta.

(Basically the bruschetta is chopped tomatoes, garlic and onions with 1/2 tbsp olive oil and a sprinkle of salt & pepper-I allow myself the small amount of olive oil because I usually get so constipated with MF and it helps.)

UGH I am having birth control issues. I am using the Nuvaring- and basically I put it in a day late-- and now I have TOM again even though I had it 2 weeks ago. THIS SUCKS!

Sooo. I spoke to my Mom yesterday- she is doing Jenny Craig and only lost 2.5 pounds her first week. She is about 240 lbs right now, and she should have lost more. I tried to help her- and she said she is drinking a "full" 48 oz of water a day---hold on-- 6 glasses of water a day??? So I told her that was the problem- she never had her major water weight drop.

I did Jenny for 5 weeks straight, gained 2 lbs each week and almost died in frustration making them believe I was doing the program in 100 percent compliance........have not seen her since

At least you need birth control. I haven't done the nasty with my husband since Thanksgiving and before that it was the Fourth of July. I am surprised we skipped Christmas but it was so close to turkey day...

Beth,....was just catching up on your journal and after the laughing died down, I have some questions for ya!

I saw that on your workout plan you were doing eplipitcal but only burning 150 cals.... how long does that normally take you? what level are you doing? I used to do the eplipitcal like a religion and i would normally burn approx. 400 cals.... of course i was sweating to death and tired afterwards, too. so i was just wondering how long and at what level it would take to burn only 150 cals.....

Thanks!!!

It depends what kind of workout I do- I set it to like 3 resistance and 2 or 3 incline. As soon as I burn 150, I jump off. In my days pre-MF, I would do incline and resistance both 10 and burn about 400 calories in 35 minutes.

i am still catching up on journals after being sick last week

beth, you are doing awesome! i am so proud of you for staying compliant - i know at the holidays i was having an impossible time, a lot like you - a few days on and then, poof, fell right off. i seem to be sticking with it now, as hard as some days can be (today has been especially tough, for some reason).

and i'm glad you're not beating yourself up, and choosing to move forward! way to go ~ and i love that you have an exercise plan down. i'm waiting 3 weeks before i even attempt any kind of major movement. i'm so proud of you!

Thanks, Karli! Keep checking in on me- I have the MF momentum going and I hope I don't lose it! (I do plan on being bad for V-Day. But that is several weeks (and pounds) away!)

Sooo... tomorrow is weigh-in. I hope I did well. I did have the birth control mishap and got my second period this month, so I hope I am not retaining any water. I am guzzling water like crazy today to flush everything out.
