Sorry to have to bring this up... if you are offended easily by the talk of bodily functions, hit the back button NOW

So today is day 3 of re restart (doing great by the way)... went to the bathroom a few minutes ago... and i'm a little concerned about what i saw, and want to know if anyone else has experienced this.... my bowels were kinda coated w/ this green mossy looking stuff :whattha: okay... what is that??! i'm not saying my actual bowel was green (okay, about to get graphic here), that was normal brown... but the coating was like a bright lime green.... um.... YUCK.

Has anyone else had this or know what is causing it... i've never seen it before. Sorry to gross everyone out with probably too much information, just needed to ask...

Sounds like what I experienced right after gastric bypass. It may just be the "remainders" of stuff that is being cleaned out as your system rids itself of the junk. This too will pass. (literally... sorry, had to pun that in).

Are you sick? It could be a viral infection.

My first week back of MF, I can't tell you what I had coming out of me....oh the stuff that must've been hanging in my intestines. Keep an eye on it (that didn't come out right), and let us know if it continues to be an issue.

My first week I had Hershey's syrup coming out. The very same thing as when I had to drink a gallon of laxative before my colonoscopy that cleared out every bit of gunk in my intestines so they could stick a scope up there. For one shining mnoment I had a lovely pink empty colon. I saw it on a TV-I like to think it was prettier than other peoples' colons but the doctor didn't say anything. :dunno:
