Green tea question

Postby CBBUTLER2 » April 6th, 2006, 11:32 am

My husband bought some diet Lipton green tea in a bottle I read the nutrition facts and it only shows 70mg of sodium everything else is 0.
It should be okay,right?
Just wanting to double check.

It's fine....just watch out for the caffeine content. Green Tea is usually very high in caffeine. So, if you start feeling jumpy, that could be the reason why :)

Hi There,
Your green tea is just fine. I myself am a tea drinker and have parted with all my pounds slurping away. :D

I have always heard that green tea even helps you lose weight. Unfortunately, I dont like it. My 13 year old son, who is also trying to lose weight, he loves the stuff! Good job, and its better for you than soadas!

Teas

Postby Jan » April 6th, 2006, 10:11 pm

Hi there,
Remember the MF tea is a meal replacement. Teas such as black tea, green tea, and herb teas are not meal replacements.
They may be used in addition to your MF meal replacements. YOu may add splenda and a splash of cream if you so desire.
Diet soda is ok, but try not to drink tooo much. It's not the best thing for hydration.
