Well Lizabette I finally broke down and sent a picture to Unca for my Avatar. I don't know how many I took with my web cam before I got one that didn't totally make me ill. I got one of my little chihuahuas in the pic with me. Couldn't get both of them to hold still at the same time with me. :mrgreen:

Isn't it odd how almost all of us think we look awful in our pictures. And yet each of us are beautiful in our own way. It's just so sweet that you are doing it for us. :heart:

Well, Ms. Fox, you inspired me to do something I've been meaning to do...search through a ton of pictures on the computer trying to find one of me! I'm camera shy so it took a while! The one I sent Unca is about 3 years old but I was about the same size then as I am now. There is actually another (more recent) one in existence where I am smiling but I can't seem to find it....another job for hubby! And if I can pin him down to do that, I'll also get him to crop some "before" pics :shock:

(from Thanksgiving '05) that I can put in the Studio.

It's great getting to see everyone's faces! That really was a wonderful idea Lizabette!!!

....now I wonder if Unca is swamped with pics?

after I reach thindom, I might go get some "glamour shots" done and post those,

You couldn't have chosen a more beautiful picture. I am constantly amazed at the gorgeous gals posting on the MF forums. Thank you for going to all that trouble, but it is so worth it... Oh, and we'll look for those "before pics" on Studio Forum. This is so exciting! :boing:

I hope UNCA does gets so swamped under with the great pics , he will be crying, "UNCA"! :bricks:

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the wonderful compliments.

Now I'll let you in on a secret. It's all smoke and mirrors! Or to be exact, makeup, a black turtleneck to hide the tell-tale chin sag, and an old digital camera that didn't take very clear pictures! We now have a new and improved (that's a matter of opinion!) camera that shows every lump, bump, extra chin, wrinkles and

grey hair!! I'll prove it if I can ever get hubby to sit down and crop those Thanksgiving pictures!! :roll:

I'm still hunting for the more recent head shot I have. I guess I'll have to e-mail the friend who took it and have him send it to me. Will Unca be peeved if I send him another one and ask him to replace this one? :hmmm:

And btw, I think the glamour shots are a great idea!!! :shades:

It's a great idea, but I don't think I could stand to see my face every time I post!!! I don't have anything that really shows my face, anyway. Maybe after I hit goal (I decided my reward - or one of 'em - will be one of those glamour shot type deals).

I won't be adding to your workload anytime soon though...still can't find that picture. Gee, :scratch:

I wonder if I deleted it (like I do to sooo many of my pictures)? That's another thing I love about digital cameras...you don't have to smuggle those torn up photos to the trash and there are no negatives hanging around to haunt you. :lol:
