Want to succeed?

1. Space meals at REGULAR intervals
2. First meal 1 hour at most after waking up
3. Last meal 1 hour at least from the time you go to sleep
4. Drink a lot of water
5. Sleep at regular hours and about 8 hours
6. No cheating

All those factors, from personal and from other experiences, are the most influent in your weight loss rate.

Post on this forum often, it is so precious for support!

Getting Started

Postby Jan » January 4th, 2006, 5:29 pm

Hi there,
Hyperion gave you great advice. Please never go more than 3 hours between meals and never skip a meal. Please do not take away or add to the program. It is very carefully designed and if you follow it exactly the weight will come off. Remember it is all about balance -- not calories ( of course the caloric intake is small :D ) so don't add even little things.
Keep posting-- the forum members will help you right along and keep you on the "straight and narrow" I'll be looking for you and cheering when I see your weight loss. Join the Sunday weigh ins -- that helps alot too and gives you great accountability.

Sorry to hear that you had the flu...I suspect that you will make a lot of trips to the sandbox tomorrow if you ate soup and dumplin's today - it may have been rather salty and with the water and your Medifast shakes...keep the Charmin handy! :walk:

If you feel hungry, have another shake; it will not upset the balance of your food intake but having a dumpling or a bowl of turkey soup will..

Best wishes to your success! We're raising our shaker jars to you!
