Goodbye until June 1st

Postby MusicalMomma » May 25th, 2006, 11:41 am

Hello to all my wonderful forum medi-friends. As many of you know, I've been struggling to stay on plan for the better part of a month now...as such I've gained back 5 pounds! ACK!

SO, I will be starting back on Medifast when I return from Delaware on June 1st. (leave on Saturday) I'll update my ticker at that point and add my re-start date to my profile.

I know many of you will have opinions ranging from "great Joyce, we're here for ya!" to "Joyce, don't wait for June 1st, start back right now..." I understand and respect what works for each of you.

As much as I wish I had been compliant since day one, and know that I'd probably be darn close to onderland if I had, I can only pick up where I left off. I choose to pick back up, with a fresh start, on June 1st.

I wish all of you a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

"great Joyce, we're here for ya!"

Yeah...what you said :) Just joking....seriously; you have a good Memorial weekend and do what you need to do. No one can tell you how you should be or what you should do until they walk in your shoes...and that isn't possible. We can sympathize and empathize but we can't know what you are going through specifically.

Yes, it would be better to get right back to it; and yes, you'd be closer to onederland if you were 100% compliant; but you didn't and you can't beat yourself up over it. Whether you start back right now or on June 1st - you know that you can do it (look how far you've come) and you know that this plan works.

So - here is a hug :hugblue: and we are all here for you whenever you start again.

I'm a firm believer that we must never hold ourselves hostage to the past. Past is past, and we are NOT behind. We can only jump in where we are today. Don't worry about the coulda, woulda, shoulda's of being in onederland right now. You have a good attitude, Joyce, and I have no doubt that you'll get right back on the MF wagon on June 1st. Have an enjoyable trip! :D

This is a support board, girly. As far as I understand it, support is offered to help people overcome struggle in whatever arena they are struggling in. We Luv ya and can't wait for you to jump back on the mf wagon but will still luv ya no matter what. You will do this and looking forward with a postive plan in place, is way more constructive then letting the past bog you down.

Hurry Back, We miss you!! :D Image
Hugs,
Gina

No criticism here, either. Why set yourself up for failure by starting right before a trip? Have a great time, and we'll see you when you get back!

No Joyce you get back on program right now! :whip: :roflmao:

I think what you are doing is the best thing for you. I also think that you will be able to enjoy your time away with your daughter so much more without being militant with yourself. Don't worry you are not closing down boot camp forever you are just taking a LOA for a weekend.

Enjoy yourself and enjoy all those compliments you will get on how well you have done.

We are always here for you!
