Goodbye......

Postby bzlife1967 » March 29th, 2006, 7:42 pm

Goodbye is not always a bad thing, for some reason the last few days I have been thinking about my goodbye's and I feel compelled to share with all of my new friends.

6 yrs ago I said GOODBYE to my Dad. It was so very hard and I miss him every day but, I said HELLO to the acceptance that his death was his decision that had obviously been thought out and not a quick decision. I said HELLO to my faith and peace of mind that his troubled soul was finally at peace. Miss you Dad!! This event in my life lead me to do some deep soul searching, look at my own life and unhappiness and made some changes in my life, so.....

5 yrs ago I said GOODBYE to my controlling, ex husband, and said HELLO to LIFE!! A life full of happiness, without fear or anxiety and a great much more relaxed relationship with my two boys! No matter how much I joke about my "TEENAGER's" They are my greatest achievement!

4 yrs ago I said GOODBYE to my "I'm just a Girl" limitations and said HELLO to my new tile saw and every other "manly" project I have succeeded at. I actually remodeled my entire bathroom, put in a garden tub, tiled the floor in Saltillo and the countertops and tub surround in Italian tile. It looks amazing and I am so proud of myself. Remodeling is now my favorite hobby.

Between 3 & 5 yrs ago I said GOODBYE to 70 pounds with another weight loss program and said HELLO to new found energy. Unfortunately 30 of those pounds has seperation anxiety and came back!

2 Yrs ago I reluctantly in a state of SHOCK said GOODBYE to my employer of 14 yrs when "I" was outsourced to another company. Until then I didn't know employees could be sold. I said HELLO to my new employer all be it dragging my feet kicking and screaming. However this new employer is a worldwide fortune 500 company and has brought many benefits and training and hopefully in the next couple weeks I will be saying HELLO to a new promotion. Keeping my fingers crossed.

1 month ago I pledged to say GOODBYE to this weight that has been tying me down and said HELLO to Medifast!

4 weeks ago I said GOODBYE to sugar and fat with MF and said HELLO to all of you which I consider my life line in a way, your support and insight is such an inspiration.... Hugs all around  This forum is the best thing that has ever happeded for MF users (IMHO)

3 weeks ago I said GOODBYE to 80% of my caffeine intake and said HELLO to many good nights sleep

AS of Today I say GOODBYE TO 20 POUNDS!! and HELLO to the 20 POUND club!!

LIFE IS DEFINITELY A JOURNEY!!

I loved your post! What a great way to look at all of this!

I lost my dad almost 7 years ago, suddenly and things totally changed for after that...weight being a huge one!

Good for you and all your life changing events! You are so strong and Medifast is just going to make you stronger!

loved your post! I haven't been posting much lately - because right now I am in the process of saying goodbye to my dad and it has not been easy. I hope that through this I can remain strong as you did.

bzlife1967 ... I agree with Vicky, When I saw the title of your post I was thinking "where's she going and why". Don't freak us out like that :-)

After reading your post, I obviously understood where you were coming from and I have to say that it's a refreshing way to look at life. Kudos to you and your healthy attitude!
