Good Morning-

Newbie Introduction-
Over-weight woman, 48, living in North West Montana; loves gardening, bird watching, husband & daughter, and being healthy. Emotional eater; gained about 40# after an emotional trauma 5.5 years ago. Finally ready to let go of all the "stuff", extra pounds included. No firm wieght in mind, but will lose at least 40#.
I expect my first Medi' box later this week. Fed-Ex is kind of on its own schedule in these parts, box may not show up until next week... :(
I feel very ready to do this and am secure in the knowledge that I am capable of re-gaining a semblance of control. Have yet to report to my DH what my plans are, will wait 'til I'm underway. He did take a picture yesterday, I will post soon.

I'm wondering if it's something about the age......I'm 49 and just didn't want to be 50, fat, and unhappy all at once. 50 all by itself will be enough, lol.

Hi Amber,
Welcome to our group. Soon you will be able to post "formerly overweight person" because those pesky pounds will soon be a thing of the past. Oh, and I'm "watching a bird too" :mrgreen: Except this one has now moved to a cage -- it is a baby Starling that we found that had fallen out of a nest. He didn't have feathers at the time and was cold. So of course home he came. I know why 58 year old ladies don't have babies -- 3 hour feedings. His name is Charlie and he really is a nice little bird.
I'll be watching for you. Just keep posting and stay very very compliant on program and you'll do great.
