I'm gonna do it

Hi All - I had planned to wait until Dec 1st to start the program as my monthly order won't arrive till Thursday. However in checking my pantry I see that I have enough products to get me started.
So here I go everyone. Am taking a leap of faith, that this time it will work. I wll let you know how it goes during my first week. I also see my doctor tomorrow. When I spoke with him last, he had not heard of Medifast, but I know he will support this as it has helped me in the past.

Glad you're going to start shakin' with us early! Some things have changed, I know unca has a copy of the new quick start guide here somewhere or you can download it from the MF site.

Wow! Thanks everyone for all the support. The Quick Start Guide is printing. I will take it with me to read during the day. I can hear that oatmeal calling - good thing as it is snowing outside!! :D

Great decision, Sherri! Just think, by your original start date you'll already be in ketosis and have several/many pounds gone!!!!

Hi DeDe -Thanks for asking. I am actually doing quite well. Not really hungry and have been spacing my meals about every 2.5 to 3 hrs.

And Vicky, you are right, I had not thought of that. I will be in ketosis by my original start date. thanks for the reminder.

Will check in before I go to bed. I am really watching myself. Old habits die hard. I went down to get my soup packet and almost reached for some candy corn without even thinking!! But I have no desire to cheat as the only one I will hurt is myself.

Your talking about candy corn reminded me of early time on MF. I was at a hotel...they had a jar of nuts/M&M's on the counter. I grabbed a handfull, popped it in the mouth and started chewing. Suddenly, I realized what i was doing...and started looking for a place to spit it. I high-tailed it to the restroom. Old habits die hard!
