gone camping for six weeks

Hi Everyone,

My 15 year old son and I leave Friday for our mega camping trip. I will be checking in from time to time if I get a chance to get on line. We will be leaving Southern California early (3am) Friday morning to beat the crazy LA traffic. :drive:

Scheduled list of Destinations:
Yosemite National Park - California
Glacier National Park - Montana (via the 395 through California, Oregon, Washington & Idaho)
Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Park - Wyoming
Mount Rushmore & Badlands National Park - South Dakota
Camping on Lake Michigan - Michigan (my family is in Kalamazoo, Mi)
Camping around the Lake Michigan shore on our way up to Mackinaw Island - Still Michigan
Sault Ste Marie - Upper Michigan
Back to California via Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Arizona with visits to various national parks and national monuments.

I will NOT be taking my scale with me so I will not weigh in until I hit Michigan and am safely locked in the bathroom at my sister's house :lol:

Wow you are going on a nice long adventure. Sounds like you are going to have a blast, see some beautiful sites, and make some wonderful memories! HAVE FUN! :D
