OH MY GOD!!!

Postby smartipantz » May 13th, 2006, 9:07 am

So this morning I was getting dressed and was putting on my jeans. I zipped them up and something wasn't right. I typically wear relaxed fit and these didn't seem like they were relaxed fit and seemed a bit long for me .... but they fit me perfectly. I unzipped them and looked......... 32 x 32 ...... THEY WERE MY HUSBAND'S JEANS!!!! OH MY GOD!!!! So now I just look at his rearend and think...... so that's what my butt looks like now...... it's not quite so big anymore. YIPPEE!!!!!

Hi Smarti. You and I seem to be the same weight right now. That is amazing, girl...34's!! You must be very happy about that. I pulled some things out of my closet this morning, and my size 10 "lee" shorts dont fit quite yet, but my size 12 tommy h. shorts fit reall well. I still wont wear them out tho, cuz I have to keep going to the gym 1st to tone up. I have to get rid of that cottage cheese look on my inner thighs before I force the general public to be exposed to that. But Im gettin there!!!

Yeah Sheila!! You are doing great!! Don't ya just love this program? I do feel so much better!!

Yeah - fitting into my husband's 32" waist jeans is quite an accomplishment. I'm fitting into most size 12's (just depends on the cut)... but not into the 10's yet. When I do - you all will hear me scream I'm sure!!

I LOVE putting on smaller sizes and retiring the old, fat clothes. I'm wearing 38's right now and I can fit into the 36's but not real comfortable... yet. My next step is to get into the 36's and buy the first pair of 34's that I've owned in over 20 years.

Stay focued and we'll end up replacing out entire wardrobes... AND I CAN"T WAIT !!!

Nice job...somehow if I told everyone here that I fit into something of my wife's The mood of the thread would be entirely different.

On another note I just got back from picking up one suit and dropping off another for alteration. Obviously the suits are being made a little smaller.

There is nothing more motivating then shopping for clothes! I put on a pair of jean capris that I had worn on my trip to TX April 13 and I remember when I put them on that day that they were fitting pretty snugly. Today I have them on and I can literally pull them right off without undoing the zip and button.

That really makes me feel good because I haven't lost much this week but apparently it's coming off in inches. I have been working out a lot at the gym so that is probably why the scale hasn't moved too much this week. But hey, I'll take the muscle growth over the scale movement anyday!!

Hi

Postby dede4wd » May 15th, 2006, 9:34 pm

I did the SAME thing last weekend! I put on a pair of jeans right out of the dryer...They were like a foot too long! I took them off and looked at them and realized they were my little brother's!

I suddenly wasn't angry that he piggybacked on my laundry when he came over to "visit", and was dancing around in my little brother's jeans!

I LOVE that feeling Sheila!

What size were you wearing when you started the plan? I ask because I am currently at your starting weight, and I am curious about what size I will be working toward.
