Tony, Poster Dude for the TSFL Program ~
Maintenance takes as much diligence and commitment as the weight loss phase did. I am confident that you will manage your weight very well. You worked hard and I am so happy for you and Sharon – your success is shared with her. We rely on our mates to help us through, don’t we?
We are very excited for your new arrival, too. How neat that Sharon will soon be able to hold that little angel in her arms. I know you mentioned she has had backaches. It reminds me of another joy of weight loss – I no longer deal with backaches from carrying around my front bumper! I suspect you and others also have noticed that your posture changes when you lose weight and the pressure is taken off your back as the belly melts away.
I r
aise my shaker jar to you as you stabilize your weight this week and then begin on the first step of transition. I would suggest that once you begin transition that you add one food every 10 days to two weeks. Since you were on the weight loss phase for some time, I think it is best to ease back slowly to allow the body and your metabolism time to adjust. Gradually increase your
exercise, as you are able. Your body will tell you how you are doing. Keep up with your water intake. No slackin', Tony!
Have you noticed how much easier it is to pay attention to what your body is telling you? Before I got on the program and learned to space my meals out and to consume smaller amounts of food, I never experienced hunger because I was continually eating. I was chronically fatigued due to a carb hang-over.
I should be down in the Bay Area around the 23rd of March or so. We wanna meet you, Sharon and maybe see that little baby!
