Thanks Nancy/Mike!

I have been gone awhile but I am finally all moved to Florida. Still a ton of boxes to unpack but que sera...I am so grateful to have found this program. I have lost about 32 pounds thus far and yes moving onto 40! My weightloss is slowing down a bit but thats probably because I have been having too much of something...maybe the nuts :o Now that I am returning to normal I will pay closer attention to when I crave the "scarffage" of  nuts.

Warm Regards,

Ria ~

How's Florida? So happy that you got moved and can meet up with your husband!

We know that you will be at your goal very soon - what a wonderful way to begin the fall in your new neighborhood. Perhaps there will be some neighbors there that need what we have!

Happy unpacking! Happy shaking! :D

Dear Unca (should I say it, Tiny Hiney?? ),

This is a FINE morning in that I qualify for the 20# club and have even lost half of it in August, so maybe I'm not slowing down too much after all. Oh, I love it when efforts pay off meaningfully. Please move me up when you get a chance.

Thanks for this site, stewards and participants alike. Let's keep shakin because, by gosh, this works!! :water: :toast:

Thanks, Nancy! Making it this far feels like the shot in the arm that I needed. I think I'l lay off the scale until NEXT Sunday and just keep doing what I've been doing.

Had added 3 x per week 30 minute workout this week. It IS seeming to make me hungrier than usual, so I'm keeping tabs on myself and not overdoing any aspect of this. Don't know whether this is feasible, really, but in my head I'm considering this beginning of exercise to be the same as the exercise at the end of the MF... which is to say, I'm trying for 2-3 months of exercising to carry me through the end of my "shakes only" portion and into the metabolism kick off. Maybe it has limited effects to boost the metabolism with the strong effects of the fast, though. Any ideas? If I'll still need to 2-3 months to get things revved up later, no problem, anyway.

DutchChoc ~

You'll be at your goal in no time - 13 pounds to go!

Be sure to "sandwich" your exercise routine in between two shakes - it won't hurt you to have an extra shake, ya know! Sometimes a person's weight loss will slow down if they are burning off more calories than they are taking in - therefore, have that extra shake so your body doesn't withhold flab. ;)

[For those of you who DO have bars, you can sandwich your exercise in between a shake and a bar or a bar and a shake.]

Yes, Nancy, I'm already doing that because it would be very difficult not to... I really do get hungrier and sometimes that bugs me, as it did yesterday when it seemed like I'd drink a shake and still be hungry immediately. However, I keep thinking of your wonderful statement on another thread about how you'd eat "cat doo" if that's what it took to keep you thin now, and I agree. That's how I'm feeling. Life is so much happier, which is another discussion, I suppose, in that not everyone seems to adapt well to my being happier and stronger-feeling.
