I logged on to check out the forum and saw a 10# club next to one of my posts. I didn't realize how excited I would be to see that! :yippee:

Thanks!

:D I basically read all your posts, but I have lost 20 lbs so far on Medifast. I started the end of March at 214. Monday I went to the doctor and am now 194...and to top it off...my cholesterol numbers are all in line. When I started on Medifast may cholesterol was 246. So, thanks Medifast!!!

LadyChamp,
That's incredible! 40 lbs. in less than 2 months! I envy you. My goal is to lose that much during the 2 months I'll be out in Colorado for the summer. Reading your post really inspired me and gave me hope that I will be able to come back to New Jersey 40 pounds lighter! Keep up the great work. You should be so proud of yourself for such a great and difficult accomplishment.

All the best,
Kelyn (star 82) I forgot to sign in....

10 more pounds lost in 8 days since restarting the program! :D I have been true to the program while doing the full fast. 3 more pounds to go to join the - 30 lbs. club and be under 200 lbs.! I can't wait! I spoke to my aunt who I'll be staying with in Colorado the other day. She doesn't use the internet so she's not hooked up! ( ahhhhhhhhh!) :( So I figure I can use the library and go over my cousins house whenever I get the chance, to check in with you guys. I hope I reach the - 30 lbs. club by this Monday so I can post it before I leave. Thanks everyone for being so supportive and all the good advice. Today will be the beginning of day 9. I know I still have a long way to go, but I'm happy I've stayed true to the program this long and I am taking it one day at a time. I just keep telling myself, " Don't sacrifice what you want MOST for what you want right now". I'm learning not to give in to immediate gratification urges. MIKE you're right the sweet cravings do go away ( not that I ever doubted you anyway)! Off to go have my M.F. breakfast now! Bye........

Grats! Look at you almost below 200! I think you are right about not giving in to immediate gratification urges. You are really learning discipline. We live in such an instant gratification, supersized environment it's no wonder that obesity is such a problem.

I know that BM (before medifast, as Nancy says) I would decide what to eat on a whim. If I felt like the fried everything platter, I would have it. Now, all the choices are gone, except for the evening meal and I concentrate on making that a balanced, healthy meal in a healthy amount. I am so comfortable on this diet right now, I can imagine doing this forever. I don't feel deprived. And today I reached my 1/2 way mark! :yippee:

Have a wonderful vacation, Kelyn. See you when you get back.

Echo,
Congrats on reaching the 1/2 way point. That's awsome! I know you must be feeling very good right now. Keep up the great work. I know we can do this! Have a great summer. Hope to be hearing from "less of you" when I return at the end of the summer. Hopefully you will be hearing from "less of me" also!

YAHOO!!! :boing: YEE HAW!!! :-P WHOOP TEE DO!!! :yeah: YIPPIE AH EH!!! :D

I did it! I did it! I did it!

I weighed today for the first time after starting June 1, 2004 and I LOST 20 POUNDS!!!!! INCREDIBLE? YES!!!!! :kool:

That averages out to 1 and a half pounds per day! I knew I had lost at least 10 pounds but 20?! Needless to say, I'm skipping around like a kid on Christmas morning. :yippee:

Folks, this MF really works. I just did shakes the first month, and followed the instructions in the booklet not to exercise. This month, I'll be walking on the treadmill for exercise and having the other supplements (soups, chili, bars,) in addition to the 3 shakes per day. This is the most comfortable I've ever been on any diet.

Here's a giant MAHALO to all those who developed, and give us easy access to this enormously effective program.

OOOPPPPSSSS....

Sorry folks, I miscalculated in my above post. :hammerhead:
I just got so excited, I didn't do the math right. That's 1/2 pound per day weight loss over June not 1 1/2 per day! Oh well, just goes to show you, if I had a brain, I'd be dangerous! ;) At least I'll be skinnier :goofy:
