Postby dede4wd » March 16th, 2006, 5:24 pm

Wow! That's GREAT! I'm so happy for you and SO glad you didn't give up!

I have been holding on to the weight ALL week long and then dropping 5 or more on THE LAST DAY OF THE WEEK! In order to avoid the blues, I've only been weighing once a week! I'd love to do every two weeks, but I don't know if I could take it!

That's great and a GREAT reason to NOT GIVE UP!!!!

Woo Hoo! WTG!

Hi, Nicole ~

Oh, wow! Super Duper loss for you! You are about to slide under a zero pound line there, too and very soon you'll be a member of the 20 Pound Club. Or bodies all operate just a little differently and release weight at varying rates. Don't ever give up - just do all you can to stick to the program every day. It works - I know...I lost 135 pounds!

DeDe ... Isn't it funny how our bodies work? I do the same thing. I realize that our body weight can fluctuate between 1-3 lbs at any given time, but I still weigh every day b/c it helps to keep me motivated. The only weight that counts is on day 7 so it's really not bad at all. My weight stays within about a half a pound all week and then in the last 24-48 hours I've been dropping 3 - 5 lbs. It just makes me laugh.

Thank God it is not just me! I always seem to lose the bulk of my weight for the week in the last 2 days too.

Thanks for sharing

Nicole,

That's so great that you were able to look at the long term and keep going even without the weight loss boost. You should be very proud of that as well as the weight that was finally lost.

GO NICOLE!
