Gee, THANKS MediFast!

Ok, 30 pounds in 3 weeks, great! But I wasn't feeling any real success until just 1 minute ago when I got up to go to the bathroom, took about 3 steps into the hallway and my shorts fell down to my ankles! LOL
Whoops!

Little could you have known to wear suspenders for the undies, lol! I'm glad that made your day, Gerald. Way to go!

Gerald,

Way to go man, there is NOTHING SEXIER than a man walking around the house with his shorts round his ankles!!!!! LOLOL

I too think of the undies test as the real 'litmus test' of weight loss. I discounted my weight loss until one day getting ready for work I caught sight of my backside in the mirror with my drooping baggy undies on. That was the day it 'got real' for me, and I was all too happy to find some that fit better!

Cheers!

Gerald, you really ARE a hoot!!!

 Hmmm...this brings new meaning to crack up, eh?

Yeah, well, perhaps you could design some underdoodies with suspenders - we could call them Medi-doodies and the $ you make could help pay for your new small thong shorts, eh?

LOL - you are all TOO much!

Fortunately no one was here "but" me, as I had to do the underwear shuffle to the next room so I could sit down to pull them back up! Laughing all the way, of course!

The cleaning lady only comes on Friday's, so I'll be sure to wear something to hold them up that day!

Medi-doodles...I LIKE that! Explorthis? You hearing this??? Something for your online store, perhaps!

Gerald,

My husband Terry and Unca (his brother) have a long-handled plastic gizmo-dealy bob that they use to grab skanky stuff from off the bottom of our backyard pond - sometimes they use it to rearrange a plant that may have gotten knocked over.

This gizzy has a squeeze handle on it and gripper-pincher affair on the other end.

I've seen similar gizzies that can be used to grab cans of food from the back of the cupboard or for reaching stuff on shelves for those who are vertically-challenged.

The guys here have been known to use their Grabby-Gizmo to surreptitiously pinch and grab Leopard Woman as she slinks by to garden…
Anyhoo…perhaps you could fashion your very own loose loincloth retriever!

Next time the housekeeper (Sheesh! Gerald IS $$$$, isn't he? A BRAND NEW BMW AND a HOUSEKEEPER, too?!) checks in, he'll be safe and not have to do the Shorts-shuffle! :yippee:

LW-

I have one of those already! (the grabby thingerbob) Trouble is, it's in the kitchen. I would normally have used my trusty cane to grab them and pull them back up, but its hanging on a door knob somewhere these days!

YAA-HOO!!! :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:

Yah-hoody-hoo, is right!

I forgot that you are now caneless as well as shortless.

Gerald, isn't it truly amazing that after just three weeks, you are already discovering "Because I cans" and we are so happy for you!

You will have to make your Because I Can List...

Because I am successfully losing weight, because I can see it is possible for me to reach my goal, I have a new BMW in my garage...

Because I lost 30+ pounds, I can hang my cane on the door knob...

Because I choose to eat the right foods. to have my meals on time and to drink water, I can push my roller chair aside...

Nancy, your creative, agile wit makes this place so much fun!! I'm in awe of the ideas going through your head as in your "grabber" post. Would take a big "because I can" to unleash my conversational tone to get to where you are... and it's inspiring! Thanks for that! You're a true pick-me-up.

Thanks for the chuckles Gerald and Gang!!!

Gerald, my husband jokingly uses the phrase "Don't get your shorts all bunched up" when I'm getting flustered or frustrated, but that doesn't work anymore for me either since mine are so loose I have to safety pin them to stay up.

And man-o-man, you've got a great incentive reward waiting. All I can say to you is "ZOOM, ZOOM, ZOOM" Nothing like a sportscar! I've had many and the feeling of flying fast and low is the BEST!!!! Used to belong to the SportsCar Club here and participated in road rallies. You'll be motoring down the highway in that BEAUTIFUL machine very soon!!! Looking forward to your picture of it.

For my reward, I'm going to get myself the new 'Sims 2' game for my PC, and attempt to drive the new Harley Davidson Fat Boy we just bought. We're not the not the typical biker type. We're clean cut, all-American 'kids' , which I think most Harley motorheads are these days. What a toy that is! It's black with lots of chrome, and I'll be looking sleek too when I'm sitting on it once I reach my goal. I refuse to get on until then. Too bad we don't live on the same continent! We could ride our rewards together! With the wind in our hair, fast as polished steel!
Let's go punch a hole in the wind!
