I don't get it. Unless you mean pho, but that's Vietnamese. Why does FO sound Japanese?? :?

Side bar: I love FO Soup, too. What’s that ya say, Bik? You had real live French Onion soup in Paris? Sheesh, you are sumpin’ else – a leopardizer and world traveler PLUS you grace the MMT Forum and help us all. Dang!

Yes, I was a tourist cliche-it was my first meal in Paris at a sidewalk cafe in Monmartre! I was drinking back then so I enjoyed it with a ONE glass of champagne. The good thing, everything is so expensive in Paris, I never got bombed there. Couldn't afford to!

I was going through my travel pictures this morning for a possible backdrop of a leopardization I am doing, and I came across this! I took it with my camera phone and sent it off to my sister immediately so she could enjoy my first Paris meal in real time! So here it is! (Do they pile on the cheese or what? Maybe it's just for the plump American tourists!)

When you get stuck some where, try for a little lean protein. That won't affect your ketosis and it will satisfy you better and longer and provide better nutrition than french onion soup. When I started medifast, onions were not allowed. I did have two lean and greens several times while at a convention with no adverse affects back then. Didn't do it very many times though and I may have dropped one suppliment when I did.

Hmmm. I wonder if we could make MF French Onion Soup? Like take a can of beef broth, add a small amount of onions, simmer for a bit, then bake in the oven with 4 oz LF cheese on top?

Thanks, Nancy! I hadn't thought about the anniversary. Wow, how time passes. But thats two years of new found freedom. A word of clarification for all you medifasters who think I am the slowest looser ever. It did not take me this long to loose this. I lost it in about 10 months and just seem to wind up back here every January for a post holiday touchup. I'm never going back where I was! :x Coming to these boards and reading the trials and tribulations of the newbees is always a good reminder. :bouncie: I'm lighter in body and spirit. Wheee!!!!! :bouncieball:
