Hey Gang! Tuesday marked the end of my first four weeks and I wanted to share my success with you all!
I am happy to report a total loss of 17.6 lbs and 21 inches!! I dropped from 198lbs to 180.4lbs. I also lowered my BMI from 36.2 to 33.0 and I lost 3.3% body fat. (OK...you guessed it...I love numbers!)
I started off with a bang the first week losing 9.2 lbs only to be disappointed when weighing in week 2 with only a 0.8 lb loss. That disappointment soon passed when I had a chance to reflect and realize that I had dropped 10 whole lbs the first two weeks!!
Week 3 brought a loss of 2.4 followed by 5.2 lbs in week 4 to bring my total to 17.6.
Here are a few highlights from the past week:
I realized last weekend that I was wearing a belt not as an accessory but to actually hold my pants up! I thought ‘what the heck…let’s see how “too big” these jeans are’. I was able to slide my jeans off without even unbuttoning or unzipping them. As you can imagine I darted off to my closet and tried on every pair of size 18s and had the same experience!
As I’m sure most yo-yo dieters do, I have a virtual clothing store in my house. Complete wardrobes neatly packed away in boxes label 16, 14, 12, 10, 8. On Monday I anxiously tore into that box of 16s and was pleasantly surprised to find that every pair of pants inside fit PERFECTLY!! I have not had on a single garment from that box since Labor Day 2004. Unfortunately they were all Capri pants. A little too chilly up here in Western Michigan for Capri’s …guess I’m going to have to purchase are few pairs of emergency 16s to get me through the next few weeks because I know box 14 will be opened in the coming weeks!
I few other nice things I’ve noticed…my watch is sliding around my wrist. Yep, no more imprints when I take it off in the evening. And the rings I’ve been wearing on my Ring Fingers…they made the move back over to the Tall Man!
I feel incredible and am thrilled that I made the choice to give this product a try. I’m already feeling the high of weight loss and have no intention to stop short of my goal!
One last thing...although this message has a lot to do with BRAGGING, I’m also sending a message to the beginners. I’ve seen a few posts in the past weeks from ladies that are in week two and not seeing the colossal loss they saw in week one. Well do not be disappointed. As I mentioned above, I only had a loss of 0.8 in week two, but I stuck with it and ended up averaging 4.4 lbs per week.
Thanks to everyone that participates in this forum. (I feel like I’m giving an acceptance speech!). You all are a tremendous support to me whether you know it or not!
I am a believer! Medifast works if you work Medifast!
