Food Scale?

Postby Pashta » March 22nd, 2007, 7:14 pm

Can anyone tell me where I might find a nice scale to weigh the lean on? I tried to buy one last year but it was plastic and boy was it a piece of crap. I returned it to the store and just tried to guess. I want to be more precise so any recommendations would be great. :)

Found a decent digital one at walmart and it was only about $15. Your walmart may vary.

I got mine at Williams Sonoma. It's digital and has a removable stainless steel plate that I can stick in the dishwasher. It was about $50, though.

WW sells scales at their meetings (yeah, did WW a number of times) so if there is a meeting nearby, you can just walk in an purchase one (you don't have to be a member to buy products like that). Mine has lasted for quite a few years. Nothing special to look at...but it works very well.

Mine's electronic, from Target, and I've had it several years. You can put your own plate or bowl on it and push a button to reset it at zero, then add your food.

I just bought one at Kmart ($6). I was really surprized at how much 7oz really was. (ALOT)

I get way too full eating it. I was on WW Core right before this program, and they taught you to eat until you reached your satisfaction point. I am way over satisfied and rarely eat all 7 ounces. Almost but not all.

Thanks for the advice guys! I love Target so I'll try to find that scale next time I'm out that way. :)
