I read this quote yesterday, and thought I'd share it (thinkng of my many, many restarts) :)

"When Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, he tried over 2,000 experiments before he got it to work. A young reporter asked him how it felt to fail so many times. He said, "I never failed once. I invented the light bulb. It just happened to be a 2,000-step process."

Have a blessed day,

Hi Joy,
That is really a neat quote. Hmmm I think I have had several muti -number processes. It gives us all hope though :D
Thanks for posting it.
You know I liked this post sooo much I was just sharing it with my two engineers -- hubby (electrical) son (mechanical). They both set "No you never fail unless you give up" Wow!! that's true for us as well.

Arklahoma is right, Michelle. I've had THREE successful weight-loss runs on Medifast (and regaining each time), and so many unsuccessful restarts that I've lost count. Now I'm on a successful run, and because I've lost it all before, I KNOW I can do it again! I don't consider myself a failure....in fact, I've had incredible success on the MF program....it's really a great program...the best one IMO! That's why I love this quote too, because I haven't quit trying to get it right and make it STICK. I haven't failed either, mine just happens to be that 2,000 step process too. :)
