MY FIRST WEIGH IN!

Postby THINKnTHIN » October 16th, 2006, 5:45 am

Good morning to all! I have been away from the board. First of all, how are Alohakate and Hulagirl?? I'mm look over the board to see if they have checked in, but if anyone has the quick answer?

Well yesterday was to be my first weigh in day, but I was not home. My 10 year old son got appendicitis on Friday and had to have his appendix out! Bless his heart, he was a brave boy and did just great! Mom, on the other hand, was a nervous wreck, but hopefully he did not catch on to that. We came home yesterday afternoon, and had a good night last night.

I was able to stay on program at the hospital, fortunately, I grabbed a box of bars, a box of soup, and a box of oatmeal along with my toothbrush. I am whooped! More mentally this morning than physically, so to cheer myself up I pulled out the scale for the first time.

Drumroll.........my three week loss is 15lbs!!!!! WOW! I was hoping for at least 8lb. I LOVE MEDIFAST!

Great job, TnT! Quick thinking, too, grabbing your MF on the way out the door.
Happy to hear that your son is on the mend!
There was a post from hulagirl yesterday, the others may be slow reporting due to power outages. CNN reports very few injuries, so (fingers crossed) hoping all is OK on the islands-

Aloha ThinknThin!

I'm here! And all is well! We had minimal damage here on Oahu, but did have our power down all day yesterday. I haven't checked in with Alohacate yet, but she should be okay. She lives only a few miles away from me. Kona, on the Big Island suffered the most damage to roads, homes and buildings and still experiencing aftershocks on that island. But all in all, we are okay! Now we are just dealing with heavy rains coming in due to the tropical storm that is passing... thank goodness it was downgraded from a hurricane! Oh the adventures of living in paradise!!!

Thanks TNT and Amber for your concern!

TNT, congratulations on your first weigh in! That is awesome!!!!

And, best wishes to you and your son on a full and speedy recovery!!!

I love MF too! :cheermed:

And I'm so glad you're little boy is OK. Congrats for staying on plan through all that. I'm sure many of us would have strayed.
