First Day!

Postby lameteorologa » January 11th, 2006, 4:40 pm

Hi everyone!

I am a new newbie! :D The box of Medifast goodies came in the mail yesterday, and I started the program today!! So far, so good! The shakes aren't bad, and the oatmeal was pretty good!

I am 5'6" ad weight 205. I want to be down to 135 by June. Do you think this is doable? Should I try and do full fast? Does full fast include Medifast food (like oatmeal)?

This board is great! I have been lurking a lot, and all of your successes are truly inspiring! I am getting married in August, and I want to be a happy, healthy bride!! :D

Full fast

Postby Jan » January 11th, 2006, 4:58 pm

Hi There,
The full fast includes all the Medifast Meal Replacements. It just means you'll be eating 6 MF meal replacements each day instead of a 5&1. (Five meal replacements and a leana and green) But I don't think it will make a difference in your weight loss. The only meal replacements with a few more calories and carbs are the bars. The others are all pretty much the same. Plus, if you do the complete program, no lean and green, you need to monitored by a Dr. Now as to the weight loss -- everyone loses at there own rate. I can't promise that 70 pounds will be gone by June but I can promise that if you are compliant --follow the program exactly -- including drinking your water and never never skipping a meal --- you' should be pretty close to losing the poundage.
