My first blunder....

Postby Marseilles » February 24th, 2006, 6:12 am

Wowsers. On Wednesday I decided to try the essential 1 chicken salad as one of my meals so I chopped up some added onion and a bit of celery and enjoy it with my medifast crackers. Yum! Unfortunately I did not do any research and called that a meal by itself and boy oh boy did I pay for it yesterday! I was a starvin-Marvin ALLLL day long. I amped up the water intake and got through it but I sure dont recommend people miss any of the required intake, I felt awful by comparison. Its amazing how finely tuned this program is.

Lesson learned, it really does NOT pay to miss any of the required elements!

Much, much better today, thankfully!

Cheers!

M- I am sooo glad you made it through yesterday even though the hungries hit you hard. This is defintely a learning process and it seems that no matter how long you have been on program there is something new to learn everyday!!

Marseilles..You did good pushing through. I know on days three and four I was sooo hungry all day and feeling pretty sluggish and headachey...I agree the plan is balanced and if we just stick to plan..Our bodies do adjust and the supplements satisfy us very well.

Nooo more starvin marvin days!!!

Ol' Stiff neck is goin back ta bed.. zzzzz
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Gina

It is so important to follow the plan exactly. I too get great cravings if I dont space my food out properly and or miss one. Also if you cheat and knock yourself out of ketosis you will also pay for it in cravings and hunger. Great lesson learned. thanks for sharing. Ron

Are they considered a supplement or a L&G?? I ask because it says we are to have 7 ounces of chicken fish etc..for the lean and grean and they are around 3 ounces correct?? I'm confused!!! :(

Cheers!

I read the links - admit that I read through them fast as we are heading out tonight.

But I STILL don't get how that 3oz packet can qualify for your lean part when you are allowed 7oz??? Can you use two packets?? I don't see the equality!!

Just asking!

Maria

If I read it correctly you have both the salad and the cooked veggies when you have the essential one meals and that makes up the difference. I guess that makes some sense.

Ok, I've never tried it, but I just had a thought. Since it's the lean portion that is skimpy with the chicken salad, could you add a hard boiled egg for the extra protein and then have your salad or veggie as usual?

Just wonderin'
