Ok so this topic may not be very everyone... but I've not been very regular - so I bought some sugar free fiber wafers... the other night I had 6 which is how many one CAN take [that's only because I had only been taking 2 a day with no results]

HORRIBLE gas and bloating...

and still nothing???

Hi Silly and welcome to the forum,
Could you give us a few details of your diet history?

Are you on Medifast?
How long?
What plan?

Anything else you could add that might help us better answer your question.

Hi - I'm on the complete plan - eating reg. food twice a week or doing the 5-1 plan twice a week...

I've been on the plan 4 weeks now...

In a day I eat

Bar - 7:30

Shake 10:30

Soup 12:30

Shake or oatmeal 2:30

Soup or Shake 5:30

Sillygirl-

I am not doing the complete but my experiences have been the same with irregularity. I use Benefiber (sugar free). I add it to one shake a day but you can just put it in water. I chose Benefiber b/c Metameucil has a warning about the product swelling & Benefiber does not swell.

I have accepted that I am never going to be as regular as before b/c I am not putting in all the garbage- less in, less out so to speak!

Good luck,
Angelia

Hi Silly,
Just wondering if you're using any sugar substitutes? Sometimes they can cause stomach distress with some people. If so, you may try cutting back on this.

Also, check out our FAQ thread here:
http://www.makemethinner.com/forum/diet-566.html

Page down to the "Gurgling Stomach and Constipation" Topics. This may give you some help.

Let us know how it goes. Others may chime in here with some more helpful ideas.

Keep us posted.

Hi --

I too today bought fiber meds.. I looked at the benefiber but never thought to mix it with a shake--I will definetly try it..I also have found that those diet hard candies give my poor stomach a terrible time..I am trying not to consume any more than 3 a day.. if I have the 5 or more I have terrible bloating and terrible stomach pains..I have not been regular since starting this program but my hubby has just the opposite reaction..so it could be worse :x --hang in there--Martha

I know that Splenda can cause all of the symtoms you have listed. It does to me. I am very fortunite that Medifast uses a non-controversial atrificial sweetner -AceK. I have had reactions to nutrasweet and spenda, but no reactions to medifast. I am so thankful!!! I hope it's okay I said those brands...if not let me know ;)

One to watch for in breath fresheners, SF gum and some candies is Sorbitol. It's been know to give some people the "rumblies".

If you're using any SF products, check the labels.
