When I first started I was trying to drink way over a gallon a day.(Never drank water soda was my drink) I was starting to feel a little light headed. I asked my doctor, He told me to work up to the gallon a day. So I started with my 8 cups and then went up to 9 cups then 10 ect. But every once in awhile I was still get light headed and at that point I would just add another shake.

actually 16 cups is a gallon.
8 cups equal 64 oz
16 cups equal 128oz
128oz equals 1 gallon

Did you get in all of your protein for your L&G? I remember when I first started I wasn't eating enough and I would feel weak.

Hi holberry,
I'm going to chime in on the water thing... If you consume too much water in too short a period of time it is possible to throw your electrolytes out of balance. One of the symptoms of electrolyte imbalance can be a feeling of out of body fuzziness. The immediate remedy is to drink a cup of boullion.
As you go along on this program and learn what your body is telling you you will recognize how much H2 is too much. The formula for water consumption, as I understand it, is your body weight divided by two (ounces to drink daily). That being said, my body never agreed with that formula; consider it a starting place from which you can fine tune your water in-take.
Hope that helps~
Amber
