Thanks Pashta but my bf and I have been together for awhile and there is nothing we don't tell each other. He is hesitant about moving to Canada; he rather stay in St.Kitts but we know that we would never make enough money to retire if we stayed there. I live in a very cold climate (-49 in the winter) so, it's not the tropical paradise he's used to; that's why he's worried. He thinks he will freeze to death! lol

His dream would be to return to Cuba since his mother is there; but I don't want to move there., so we compromised!

I went shopping today to look at clothes and had to try on a few things; I have to make a budget for clothes to buy since all I have is winter clothes. Anyways, had an awesome sales woman who knew what I was going through losing weight and saw me looking at pants in the plus section. She approached me and said," I think you should go to the regular size pants on the other side of the store; these will all be too big for you!". I didn't beleive her so I took 1 plus size small pants and then went on the regular size and took a 15 regular. I went to the dressing room and ladies; the 15 fit!! I did the happy dance and now I know that I must have dropped a lot of inches. I am still on the plus size for shirts, but I think by the time I go, my body will be more proportional. I've always been top heavy.

1 month ago, I struggled into my 18 and 16 pants. Now, I'm in some 14 and 15! This gives me some hope since I have a killer dress that is a 15-16 but on the smaller scale and very fitted that I would love to fit into so my bf can take me out somewhere fancy. I am going scale shopping this afternoon but I think I have dropped some weight this week. The hydrocortizone cream is also helping me a lot with the itches of my rash on my face; I hope that the rash goes away by the time I leave!

Yahoo Lise! Isn't it great when you find clothes that start fitting? Glad you found the nice saleswoman. It can be frustrating being good for a whole month & not knowing if you're really losing. I tend to lose strangely myself. I've been keeping track daily since January 3rd when I started. I have had several 2 week stretches where I only lost 1 pound total! But when I stick it out, I finally drop several all at once. I have lost 42 pounds in 14 weeks now. So hang in there--it works as long as you don't give up. As long as you keep being good, the scale & inches will go down. But if you're bad... the results are not the same! I haven't cheated at all this time, but a few years ago when I was on the program, if I did ANY cheats, I wouldn't lose anything that week. So that keeps me on the straight & narrow now! Keep up the good work & you'll be Skinny Mini in St Kitts

I've dropped a whole size plus some. LOVE IT... I'm out of plus size too. I'm glad my stay there wasn't too long! Looking forward to fitting into my pre-baby clothes again.

Pashta--that's great! It's so nice to get out of the Plus department! How old is your baby? I finally decided I needed to fold up all those maternity clothes & hide them away for awhile. When you have bigger clothes that fit & are comfy, it's easy to stay in them.
