I am so fed up..Update, hissy fit over now

Postby Prancer » August 9th, 2006, 11:57 am

I am sitting here bawling like a two year old. I havent had any MF in 2 or 3 day. Its not my fault. My autoship order was supposed to be sent August 3. Because of this new system change not only did I not get my discount (been told that will be fixed next month so I am fine with it) but they never sent my order. I called yesterday and was told it hadnt been shipped so they would look into it and get back to me. I waited 5 hours and no one got back to me so I called again. Then I was told yes they had shipped it...yesterday!! The 8th!! They said they sent it overnight air and it would be here today. So I started off my day with the milk that is suggested if you run out of food, wait 3 hours still no food so I decided to have my L&G, wait 3hrs and STILL NO FOOD. So I called again. This time I was told that it SEEMS to have been shipped but it wasnt over night. That means 3 more days. I have already gained back 5 pounds. Yes 5 pounds and that isnt even me cheating like a mad woman. That is me having low car smaller meals trying to salvage something. I feel like I am being penalized and I didnt do anything wrong. I am set back at least a week now as far as my goals are concerned. I feel very defeated, like everywhere I am trying to turn there is a wall.

Hang in there, Jenn!

We are all having similar problems - but this too shall pass.

Think of all you've accomplished already - do NOT dwell on this gain!!!

(maybe TSFL should give us all a free week of food for this inconvenience)

Sorry Jenn, wish there was something we could do for you. If you lived near us we would let you borrow some until your food got there.
All I can say is to pray, be strong, and do the best that you can.

:aarggh:
I'm right there with you, Jenn. This is incredibly frustrating- My 8.3 autoship hasn't been seen, by me anyway, either. I have chili (yuck) and bars but that's about it...
I am eating small amounts of "safe foods", proteins & veggies, every few hours. I refuse to do the milk thing. Guess all we can do is try to maintain an even keel through this situation.
I am going to move my next auto-ship date up 10 days or so. It won't fix this month's issue, but at least there'll be more supplies in stock for next time.

:( I'm so sorry this has happened! I hope you get your food soon. I think I would feel the same way as you if I ran out of food. It's one thing to plan to be "off plan" it's another thing to have it happen due to things out of your control.

*hugs*

hang in there! I wish I had some good suggestions :(

Amber I wish I could change mine. DH gets paid once a month (the last day of the month) so I did it thinking if I have the oder in the first week it would work. I guess I will be ok next month considering my months worth of food wont be consumed until 9 or 10 days into the month. :?

Maybe you could go to your local grocery store and buy some similar produts for the next day or two.

If nothing else, you could buy a bunch of slim-fast drinks. It wouldn't be ideal, but it could work.

Also, you could buy some south beach breakfast bars (the kind with 140 calories, instead of 210). They are very similar to medifast bars, so that could work for one meal a day.

Knowing me, I would probably just eat five small L&G kind of meals (I would probably eat 2-3oz. of meat and 1/2 cup of veggies).

Hi, Folks ~

First of all, I send my Medi-apologies to all of you - this is not the way it is supposed to be! I am very sorry that you and many others have had to wait for your Auto Ship orders to arrive.

It does feel like we are being penalized - I am so sorry! Our order is late, too and many of our precious clients have not yet received their August 1st and August 2nd BeSlim orders...but please know this, TSFL does their best to make things right for their clients.

When the new IT system took over, many things slowed down and frankly, some things stopped for a few days as the personnel dealt with the system change. They are still tweaking things. It will get better once the tweakage is completed; it will be wonderful and we will all celebrate that day!

Now...in the meantime, here are some things we can dine on while we wait...I detest skim milk or even 1% milk so I hear ya on that one - BUT with a partial teaspoon of almond or vanilla extract (you may need to experiment with the amount you use to suit your personal taste bud’s likings), it's not too bad. I have run out of my precious Medigrub before and gently heated some skim milk, added some almond extract and thought it was pretty good. I did not have any of the sugar free DaVinci syrups with me at the time but I suspect that adding some of your favorite syrups would make the skim milk palatable.

I drank skim milk mixed with 1/8th of a teaspoon of Crystal Light Raspberry Ice drink mix powder & a few ice cubes whirled in the blender for a fake raspberry milk shake - it is not as satisfying as a Medifast Strawberry shake with Raspberry Crystal Light powder but it works for the emergency situation.

In place of a packet, have a hard boiled egg (about 85 calories) and to balance the protein, have 1/2 cup of green beans (about 25 calories), making a total of 110 calories = it is not the same as having a shake packet but it works and will keep you in the fat burning state.

You could use an equivalent 90-100 calorie portion of low fat cottage cheese if you cannot handle the skim milk. Sprinkle some paprika on it or add some chopped or freeze-dried chives to the cottage cheese - for a day or two, the cottage cheese/egg & green beans/skim milk with extract or the Crystal Light Skim Milk concoction can help you to manage while your Medigrub is winging its way to your front porch.

My take on expected Auto Ship delivery times - it looks to me as if last week's Auto Ship orders were prepared on Friday, August the 4th, sent out on Monday, the 7th - I believe they were all expedited and sent next day air or 2 day air. With that said, they should (and yes, the operative word here is 'should') be arriving today or tomorrow.

I would gladly share some of my Medigrub with ya, too. One thing to tuck away in the back of your brain for the future…when winter arrives, if the weather gets skanky, it can affect our delivery time of product. I try to always keep a week’s worth of extra food on hand in our Medipantry for just such occasions. None of us wants to be caught without our Medifast oatmeal or bars!

My best to you and I hope your Medigrub arrives ASAP!

Nancy thanks for the extra tips. I dont mind skim milk but that alone as 5 meals a day...eeeewww. I vow to be back in my groove tomorrow and will use the tips I have been given here until my food arrives. I am over my baby fit now and feeling more grown up now. I was really feeling sorry for myself and disappointed in myself. DH actually came home from work 'cause I was so upset. I havent been sleeping either which didnt make things any better. I cant believe how much I am looking forward to being back on MF. Who would have thought. I want to get right back to it and not have a gain for Sunday.

Well, we all have hissies once in a while. Somehow, they seem to make it easier to deal with the crappy times easier, eh?

As soon as your Medigrub arrives we can all do the happy

Jenn, I'm glad that your hissy fit is over because mine is just beginning...
I was able, finally this a.m., to get a tracking # from TSFL. My order has been shipped, but not with the promised expedited shipping. After being told by TSFL phone representatives on Monday that it would be here Tuesday and being told yesterday that it would be here the 10th today, turns out that it will not be delivered until Monday(according to UPS tracking)... It pi$$es me off that this transition has been botched, but it really PI$$ES me off that there have been misrepresentations made by TSFL.
My rant is over & no, thank you, I do not feel any better :x

With normal shipping mine takes 2 to 3 days so I am assuming if it was sent the 8th it should be here today. Now you got me wondering Amber.
