I recently bought oatmeal, especially to use in this recipe as I have a number of chocolate pudding pouches to use up and thought this would be a good way to do it. I made 6 cups and I used 4 of them with pudding, HOWEVER, my curiosity got the best of me and I tried two of them with brownie mix instead. The ones with brownie mix are tricky in terms of cooking -- haven't quite figured out the best way to do that yet, but part of the mistake was that I was cooking empty oatmeal cups in 4 cups while trying to cook 2 of the oatmeal cups with brownie mix inside, all at the same time (and they definitely require different cooking amounts).
So far I am not sure what I like better, but the brownie filling might be winning for me (unfortunately !). In either case, I like them best when they have sufficiently chilled (overnight, basically), in complete form, in the fridge.
