My favorite food used to be....My favorite food now ....

Postby sidrah » June 7th, 2009, 10:36 pm

Okay, I used to hate the chilli, still do, so that won't work here. Kidding....no, really, cannot do the chilli still!

My favorite food used to be the oatmeal. Any flavor, especially the peach.
My favorite food now is beef stew and for sweet, the pudding.

Still love oatmeal but find myself looking forward to other stuff, too.
Anyone else change along the way?

Club Medifast- secret society

Postby sidrah » June 7th, 2009, 10:47 pm

Sometimes, I feel like coming in here because it is like a secret society that no one else around me "gets".

I get to do all these cool recipes, meet cool people, learn some new stuff about everything! Finally, someone else knows what it is like and can be happy with me when I say "3 days gas free and no bean-o involved". Can you imagine that topic coming up in a normal day? Ha.

Fade to---Morning announcements in the classroom. "Please rise for the Pledge...and in school news, SAT prep classes coming up, JV Football meets in weight room @ 3, Teaher in room 32 is Medigas-free going on 3 days now, whoo...and oh, yeah, faculty meeting starts at 3:15 on the dot."

It is so easy to lie and say I did great today, but I don't do that in here.

Me neither. I'm always tempted to lie, especially after months of disappointing foody behavior - but what's the point? How can anyone help me - how can I move on - if I'm lying?

And for the record, I think the kids would love to hear those kinds of morning announcements. They'd go out of their way to find room 32 just to get a peek at the person who accomplished something so great.

Yeah...I see it now, the crowd gathering at my door and me wearing a sticker that says,

"Hello my name is Teresa and Fart-Free is the way to be!!"

I had a co-teacher once write a kid up for farting in class. The actual referral said "excessive intentional gaseous explosions on-going thorughout class" Funny. He was suspended for 3 days, too!!! I mean, this kid did it on purpose for the laughs and after a month the teacher got fed up.

Go teachers!
