Over time it can be a problem. You are reducing your calorie intake, your protein intake, and carb intake... not to mention the other nutrients. Eventually your body may start going into starvation mode and holding the pounds, or it may also start to use muscle for food.
Just be aware if you do that often. The program is designed for 5 + 1 for a purpose.
