How thick are you slicing them? Because I tried again and I burned them (yuck tasting burnt) after like 20 min.

I cut the turnips into thin strips and then I soaked them in cold water for about 15 minutes with the seasoning.
Took them out of the water, sprayed them lightly with Pam olive oil spray and then put them in the oven.

Oh yeah, tasted some last year from Burger King... let's just say that american restaurants just don't have the "touch" to make poutines.

It doesn't help the fact it's way too fat though :D

Ok, I made these tonight. At first I was thinking as I was smelling them, these cannot possibly taste good! I put them in the oven at about 450 for 20 minutes then on broil for another 1 min and took them out.

My hubby and I loved them! They tasted nothing like they smelled raw. Very good and I'm going to try and boil them next time and make them like mashed potatoes! OR I bet they would taste good like mashed sweet yams. Just add some butter buds, splenda and cinnamon! YUMMY!

I am addicted to the turnips right now! I made them mashed last night. Extremely yummy! Added butter buds and Mrs. Dash.
