My New Years Day was great. It's a blessing from GOD to see the new year. Many people forget to give thanks and praise to the LORD. I will continue to work hard on trying to reach my goal weight of 180. I know that once I get to onederland; I will be very excited about my weight loss journey. Hey the bat wings (the fat that hangs over the side of the bra) are decreasing in size. I was very inspired when I saw that in the mirror and I could feel the difference with my hands.
I thought WOW!! Going back to work after the H-O-L-I-D-A-Y-S really S-U-C-K-E-D!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I pray that we can all continue to medifast our way to our goal weight.

*I'll try any suggestions; please give them to me.*

No help on the Cream of Broc other than the cracker recipe in Lean Cuisine (which I have never mastered).
The chicken noodle does well with some garlic powder and some pepper or chili powder (let it sit for a while to let the noodles absorb the water).
The Tropical punch (to me) is best made with sugar free lemonade (Minute Maid lite or SF Tropicana Lemonade).

I did try it with the crystal lite; in a frozen shake. I used the blender. I will try the lemonade minute maid lite. Is that in a powder form or liquid.

I hope everyone is having a great start for this great new year of 2008. I'm still hanging in there. I have some days that are really tough. I have learned to stop beating myself over about bad days when I'm trying to reach my goal and healthy weigh. Just jump back on and keep going. Faced some tough issues with my husband during the holiday season and that always seem to make my emotional eating kick into over drive. Just wanted to say hello to all.

Happy New Year

So, you have had another photo shoot huh. I think it is great. I love the camera as well. Haven't wanted any pictures below the neck in the past 3 years or more. Face only. I am working hard to not be afraid of the below the neck pictures again. Good for you; keep at it. It's almost hard to believe that your before picture is actually you. The one you talk about having the beer gut. I can't wait to transform like you did.

I hated pictures. I wouldn't even allow facial pictures unless I was drunk. There are a few fat pictures of me sober, just a few. I went to Paris a few years ago and there is no photographic proof that I was ever there. Amsterdam, Africa, the same thing. The minute I started on MF and started losing, I became a camera hog. Some in the studio, but mostly in my journal, I would document how my body was changing with photographs. Even though I was still heavy in Hong Kong in March, I was happy to have my picture taken because I was on plan and was proud of the weight I had lost. I wasn't perfect, hence the time it took me, but you can do it! Every day that you are on plan you are a day closer to your goal even if it doesn't feel like it or isn't showing up on your scale. I know you can do it!

Oh, My goodness; I finally got my temporary crowns today 3 molars. It's been a long ordeal and quite expensive. I go back on February 28th, 2008 to get my permanent crowns. I will be so glad when the left lower quad is complete. I don't plan to have the next step started until maybe the end of April. Having all the work I've had done on the left lower quad was a whopping $6500.00 dollars; uggh My insurance only paid $1500.00 dollars which is annual max. Now, all of the amount for the next quad will be on me. I told my dentist I have to work and save more money to complete the next quad. He's going to tell me which quad he should do next; he mentioned briefly that it would most likely be the left upper quad. I just hope he can do that side without the root canal procedure.

*I will try to stay on plan; I'm usually scared to drink or anything; after I get my dental work done. Afraid of ruining it.

Continue to be losers everyone. We can do it.

I know it's hard. My recent dental work was minor compared to yours and I didn't eat or drink enough afraid of making myself bleed or hurt too much. Just try.

You're a free-spirit and it is great; because when no one else is there BIKIPATRA is there. When you send post back to me and others; it really helps. You feel that someone understands; because they have been there; done that. Thanks for responding and encouraging me.

You are so sweet. I am so glad that I can be of help to others just like when I was a newcomer people helped me! All it takes is a few weeks and you will be helping newcomers too. Because you will have experience to share. You already do!

My goodness I have my temporary crowns and they are very uncomfortable/painful. I had to call my dentist last night because of the pain and discomfort. I really want to keep my smile beautiful; but there are days that I feel like wanting to rejuvenate my smile was a big big mistake. I think it's because I'm so uncomfortable right now. I just want my mouth to feel normal again. I have had several people at work to tell me that it will take a while for me to get use to the feel of the crowns. The dentist is great and is very caring. I haven't lost anything past my 17 pounds. I think my body feels like its starving. I have been drinking high calorie shakes at this time. I just don't want to gain anything. I hope I feel better soon. My plan is to do 28 cheat free days real soon. I hope all of you are losing. Continue to lose; losers.
