So Excited!

Postby Peggy » July 27th, 2004, 9:38 am

Hello Everyone!

I'm just getting started on my 5th day. Past the hunger pangs now and I'm already feeling less bloated. I'm so encouraged after having read so many wonderful posts and I'm looking forward to building friendships with all of you as I slim down.

Eight years ago I did Jenny Craig and lost 1 or 2 lbs a week over a year for a total of 50 lbs. Not long after I was sporting a new sexy body my husband and I accidentally added to our family... ;) Three beautiful children and 8 years later I'm back to square one.
Since that time it's been a struggle to lose the weight and what weight I did lose came right back. I'm hoping this time I can maintain the loss.

It's so nice to know that there are so many people out there doing the same program and there's a place to go for questions and moral support. :)

Talk to you soon!

Welcome Peggy!

Yes, we've all been there and done that "lost the weight and regained it" routine. The difference I see on this diet is that I'm losing a WHOLE lot quicker than any other diet I've been on, and I like the products as far as taste. Where has this diet been all my life? I've never felt so clean on the interior - talk about detoxing! I'm on Day 57 and although I only weigh once a month, I feel myself getting lighter and lighter. Ka-thud, the pounds are falling off! Good for you you've found this board. It's wonderful and it's nice to have nice folks like you too! Look forward to seeing you here. :hi5:

Welcome Peggy :).

Glad to have you here, and congrats on getting beyond the dreaded three days! Are you doing the full or modified plan? Today marks the end of week two for me, and things have just gotten better and better each day after the first 4 days, and my energy surged by day 10. So, you certainly have even better days to look forward to.

I'm wishing you the best and look forward to talking to you and seeing your losses!

I'm not exactly sure. I found out about the medifast program through my doctor. He set me up doing two shakes and two bars a day and then a dinner consisting of meat and veggies.

Any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
And thank you all for such a warm welcome. :D

Hey Peggy, everyone is different, Here is a link that we discussed about shake quantities, vs. bars and other items when and what you can and should have:

Additionally check here on the FAQ section, it is FILLED with all sorts of great information:

If you can't find what you’re looking for here, shoot a message and I guarantee someone will get you an answer.
