Hi Everyone!

Hi Everyone!
My name is Cathy and I live in NJ. Today is my 4th day on the MF program; So far, so good. Actually, I am doing great! Slight headaches in the afternoon, but nothing a Tylenol isn't taking care of :)

I went to my Dr before I started this program and he highly recommended it for me. I had to go and see him today for a slight bladder infection (YUK! :o ) which has nothing to do with MF ... and he weighed me (I wanted to wait and weigh only once a week - like for me, every Sunday) and I LOST 6 LBS ALREADY! I am so psyched!

I do have a qeustion for 'yall ... can we have sugar free jello as a snack? I bought those little pre packaged ones from the store for my family and my husband brought up the question.

Thanks!
Cathy

Welcome Cathy. Congratulations on the progress.

You can have 1 sugar free jello as a snack (but the key is limit only one snack per day).

I am sure in a while here others will chip in their suggestions too.

Good Luck.
Soni

I don't venture into snacks at all. I figure I add enough stuff with my SF syrups & Splenda.

I do want to say welcome and :goodluck:

Welcome Cathy! You can have 1-2 cups sugar free jello. Per day. If you do this, I'd recommend staying closer to 1 cup. If you go for the two cups, I would recommend having no other snacks that day.

Image Cathy,

Sure you can have SF Jello just stay within the limits that are allowed. I did snacks for the first few days and now there is no hunger so I just have my meals. You will love the program and are already doing a great job.

Look forward to taking this journey with you

Thanks to everyone who responded to my post :D

I am so excited to be on this journey to my NEW LIFE!
I have never been the weight I knew I could be. My Mom brought me to join Weight Watchers when I was 13 years old. I was the one who always heard, "You have such a pretty face and great personality ... if you were thinner, you'd be a real knockout!". Well, I know this is not going to be the easiest thing in the world ~ but I also know I can do this and I really, really think this is the time I WILL do this! :D

Thank you all for welcoming me so warmly
I am looking forward to amking great freinds in this forum.

WELCOME CATHY

The sugar free jello is nice once in a while but I find that having a cup of broth or two stalks of celery goes further for me if I am hungry.

You are really going to enjoy all the support :goteam: you get here on the forum.

You had an Awesome weight loss for only 4 days!!! :whoohoo:

Keep up the good work :toast:

Hi Cathy. I'm a newbie too. It is going to be so cool going through this journey together with all the other great people on this forum. I think the support is going to help me so much as I don't have a lot of support at home.

Thanks again to everyone's warm welcome! ...and welcome ChiNut :D , looks like we will be doing this together. I am married and also have two boys, but mine are a little older than yours, mine are 26 & 14. My husband is the baby in this house ;) .
Today I am working from 3-11pm. I am a nurse at our local hospital and I work per diem ... this is the first day I am going to be "out" while on MF ... wish me luck!

I'll be on tomorrow to let you all know how my night went.
