Just wanted to say hi. I saw how many Canadians were on here and decided to join the party. My name is Ken and I'm originally from the great city of Calgary, Alberta. I now , however, toil in Salt Lake City, Utah. Please don't hold that against me.
Of course I love hockey (even though my beloved Flames sucked in this years playoffs) and most all sports. I work in the TV news industry and get out to what pass as mountains here whenever possible.

I was thinking-- maybe the Flames aren't doing so well because, well, flames would melt ice, making for very unsuccessful hockey. Perhaps if they changed their name to the SnowStorm, or Raging Icicles, or Frightening Frigidaires, they'd fare better.

Hey Ken it is great to have you with us. I too am an avid sport fanatic of just about any sport under the sun! As for mountains I was born and raised in FL so to me an ant hill could look like a mountain!

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Utahn...Oh my heck, you're gunna love it here!
I live in North Davis county with a great view of the "moun-uns". I can make fun of the people here because I grew up some where else! There are a few Utah people on the boards. Seems that most posters are from East of the Missippi, though.
Hope your journey with MF is smooth as all the shakes you are going to enjoy!

I'm with sidrah, I've never been to Utah, just saw it all on the tube. I do't get into hockey, I tollerate baseball but Football is my love! As for moiuntains...I live in the mountains here in Az and I LOVE it!
