Well thanks folks! Unfortunately it's almost that time of the month and I bloated up a few pounds overnight.. it also reflected in my inches :( But oh well, my weight loss will just look even bigger at the end of the week! Hehe!

I had some peach oatmeal this morning and you know, it's just fine! Didn't taste bad or anything to me, I didn't have to add anything to it either, and it filled me up too. This may be easier than I thought.

LOL! Thanks Veritas, but it wasn't me who said she was "picky". I am like Nancy, I would eat cat poo if it made me lose weight. :-P

LOL Nancy! No, the food seems fine, I can live with it! I had a bad experience with the fruit & nut bar this afternoon.. I think the box must be rather old, that's how it tasted, but I called the 800 # and they are going to replace the box. :) Lovely customer service! I saw another box of bars w/o an expiration date on them in the order though, so I hope it's not the same old stuff again.

For those who are wondering:

So far today I had a peach oatmeal (best of the day), chocolate shake (not bad), fruit & nut bar (gag), and chili (not bad with a bit of dried onion, garlic and chili powder). I'll probably try the chai later on, hope it's not too bad, I love chai! :)

The bars can be a little dry-tasting - be sure to eat the bars slowly, with a full glass/bottle of water.

Remember...these are weight loss foods, they are low in fat...they help to make our scales go down...they may not taste like Grammy's Homemade Granola...give your tastebuds a few weeks to adjust to them...in a while, they will be the greatest thing since sliced bread....well, maybe!

I did just that... ate it a little bit at a time and had a full glass of water with it too. I love healthy food like plain fruit, nuts and just plain steamed veggies, and I especially love granola with fruit and nuts. This just tasted.. old. Like mildewy or something, I can't find the word to describe it.
