Aww - thanks! That brightened my day. You guys really are the best!

I'm feeling MUCH better today. I was up at 4:30 (I believe it is formally called Biki o'clock) and decided to clean my house before I had to wake up my son at 6. I know, doesn't leave a lot of time for cleaning but I was surprised at how much I was able to get done. I didn't vacuum or mop but I did everything else I could think of and everything is neat & tidy.

Now I just need to follow Taangrl21's lead and clean out the car too! :)

So I finished cleaning and snuck on the scale before my shower. Down 2 lbs  instant encouragement!

 Not sure you're a poor car owner, as long as you maintain it correctly :) By the way, you're lucky to live in Florida, without any winter, it's easy to clean your car as often as you want :) I would do mine, but the roads are so dirty and it's so cold outside that it does not worth it :)

FREAK!

LOL, just kidding Eric! When I was a kid, my father owned a car wash. Every day after school and all day in the summers, my siblings and I washed, vacuumed, and waxed cars (that's probably what's wrong with my back now!). We even did dealership lots! I have done my share--and then some--of car washing! I now REFUSE to wash my car, and really can't do it now anyway. But I do enjoy a clean and shiny vehicle, so...I have a little sticker in my windshield from the local car wash, the "Clean Car Club," and pay a set amount per month for unlimited car washes. I usually take it in once a week or so. It's a win-win!

:drive:

That DEFINITELY sounds like the way to go. I had high hopes and went out and bought all this stuff to use when I wash my car. Well....that stuff is still packed away in my garage. Never been used....I think I'll visit a car wash this weekend.

As of today, I am down another pound. *HAPPY DANCE* I have been going without pickles and bars this week - I know, I know, I might as well be flogging myself. Still, my willpower is high right now, so I'm going to do without for as long as I can. Besides, I buy those little gherkins and my calculation of how many of those I can have in order to add up to a dill pickle is often tooo generous.

in other news, I got a pretty good offer on my house so I am crossing my fingers and believing that this one will mature into a contract and make it to closing.....
