Dede, I take it you were working on setting a new Industrial fashion trend? :D

Elke, I truly hope and pray that things get better for you soon. Things go in cycles, and soon you'll look back at this as a test where you stood fast and learned how strong you could be.

Well today is not a whole lot better than yesterday. I feel bad for letting my family down. I hate to be suck a downer, not my style really but back in MArch...31 to be exact I under went foot surgery, I was suppose to be laid up for just 3 weeks, it ended up being more like 8 weeks.
Short term disability only paid like 20.00 a day....A DAY!!!! I make more that that in 2 hours.
Shortly after returning to work I injured my back...out of work for another 7 days. That doesn't eem like much but we are still trying to catch up from the 8 weeks. Thats why I feel like this is all my fault, my husband is gonns try to sell his 1970 El Camino...I hate that he has to do that. We put a lean against my bike other wise we would probablly sell that too. I hate that we have to go through this.
Sorry I don't mean to burden you all and I hope that I ma not. I just need to get this off my cupcakes :?
Thaks for this blog....great release.
Here's hoping for a better tomorrow :)

My friends loss is my gain. My best friend in the whole world bought MF last week, I believe today was day 8 for her. Well lucky for me she is not happy about it, lemme explain, she only wanted to loose like 15 lbs, she only lost 2.5, I will also say that she wears a size 5 to 7 in pants...I know, I know, I tell her all the time that she is beautiful and needs to gain NOT loose. I have known this girl for 25 yrs, she wont change and I love her anyways.
I know that if she wasn't happy with mf that I could buy it from her and sure enough I did. That gives me an extra week...woo hoo and thank you Jesus!!!
I guess that is all for now, today was ok for a monday, by husband will be home all week so that has it good points and bad. The kids and I are use to doing things around here in the evening that he is not. Oh well it will be nice...I enjoy having him around.
Oh yea! I was standing out side of work this afternoon when a friend drove by and said WOW you look good! How much weight have you loss? I told her and she was like wow, you really look good, that awesome!
I was just hinking today that noone is noticing and I was starting to wonder if this was all just a dream. Nice to know its not a dream and this is a new life for me. I am so happy right now with myself and my family

Today is a wonderful day...I lost 4 lbs this week...YEA!!!!! I had like 3 people ask me how much weight I have lost so far and they tell me I look good. I even had one guy...much older tell me it looks like I am loosing a lot in my butt! Well thats a great place to loose it if you ask me :)
I realized today that I wont make it to my first goal, the most I will probablly loose my Aug 16 is 20lbs or so. My goal was to loose 39.5 by then, that would have put me at 150. Thats ok though, 16? is good too. I am not gonna get too upset cause I mainly just wanted to look good when I rode out to California with my family.
My youngest son, not youndest child, is so supportive of me, he know how I have been doing and other than my husband he is the only one in the house that knows my weight. He went to his dads last week and when he came home he asked how much weight I lost while he was away.
He is a very caring child. I am lucky to have the wonderful children that I have, they are awesome!
Well thats it for now...maybe if I can get my husband to take a pic of me I will try and post a before and during...maybe.

Well I fianlly posted some pics, that was scary. Gina helped bunches...thanks my friend :) I keep looking at the pics, I see some changes but not too much, maybe I am just being critical but I maybe see alittle in my nect, butt and arms. I still see a huge, and I mean HUGE belly. Thats the part that bothers me the most. ANd why aren't my cupcakes getting smaller? I thought that was the first place to loose...I don't get it.
I think its my short hair cut that makes me have a neck. I am also afraid that if I admt outloud that maybe this stuff is working then all the weight will come back. I fear that more than anything. I don't want it to come back like it has in the past.
We had a bad rain storm here today while i was at work. Hail and everything, I was worried cause my bike was out in it. Its ok except for a plastic pool flew and hit it, messed up the mirror is all. Whew!
The rain was nice but the lightening was not, it started 19 fires in the Tonto National Forest. Small and probablly not a problem but that tell you how dry it has been here.
Well that enough for now.

Hi Elke!

I LOVED your pics! You ARE being too critical! You're loosing EVERYWHERE! I LOVE the hair! Gina's side-by-sides are SO helpful! She should go into business making those for us, charge like $5 a pop! I'd do it!

I'm so glad your son is so supportive! Without you guys, I'd have none! It must be SO nice!

Sorry about your bike, good about the little bit of rain, bad about the lightning! Hope they get the flare-ups under control! You've got some beautiful country over there and I like it without a bunch of charred area all around!

Well its been a couple of days since I was here, not much has been going on. Today my husband and I might take a bike ride up to Flagstaff and see my son. He still wont come back home and since he already paid for July's rent I guess I shouldn't hold my breath. Naw to be honest I am very proud that he is trying to make it on his own, but I wouldn't mind if he came back home too. I just miss him. Its funny cause even when he was home I never know when or if I was gonna see him. There were days that I never saw him so this really shouldn't be very different...then why is it. I'm not depressed like I was about him moving. I am glad that he is fine.
Now when my other son leaves I'm gonna be a wreck! You see, my second son wants to go Army and is planning to do so right out of High School. I am very proud of him, he will make a great soldier.
My third son want to go Marine...he is still young and I am sure that will change. He will be 14 this month.
My daughter/Angel just wants to be a mom and work at Wal*Mart...I am working on that. I don't want her to work there, I believe she is better than that. She has shown interest in animals and she wants to learn to work with them. My husband was a Vet Tech so he is excited about that.
Well I guess that about it. Maybe next time I will talk about my 5 cats and 2 dogs :)

Not much to report today. Never made the bike ride, we took the car and its a good thing we did. We hit one heck of a thunder and rain storm. I couldn't see past the hood of my car. WOW that was close. I am feeling very hungry. I usually am very hungry on the weekend. I think its because I wake up later than the week days. Not real sure. Anyway thats about it. Looks like I will be able to make the Az get together, I look forward to that.
On another not, I just did my measurements...1 month from the last time I took them and I have lost 7.5 inches all around. HOORAY for another NSV!!!

Another zonie get together and I had a great time. I really enjoy the ladies that I meet up with. I love the fact that I got new clothes...Geri did too, its nice. This evening I went through them , some don't quite fit and some are little loose, but some fit just right...mmmm that saound familar, anyway I have decided that I need to do a shopping trip to savers, I will need to go to the city for that, the only clothing store we have here is Wal*Mart and this new store called Stage....kinda like a Mervins, too much money for me.
I feel like I got so much to do tomorrow, just regular weekend stuff like laundry, cleaning the kitchen real good...the kids clean it during the week.
Did I mention that I am wearing 14's...I can't remember that last time I wore 14's. Also I have a new goal. I would like to be in a size 12 by the time I go to Cali. I think that is more doable. I want to suprise the family so my husband nor I have said a thing to them. I can't wait to see the look on the face when I come riding up on my bike :D
Well I am getting tired so I better go to bed.

Boy I sure hope so. I think it might depend on what brand I get and where I get them from. If was funny cause last night my husband was on the phone with his brother, the one graduating and he started to mention my weight loss, I turned around and said shhhh! no while waving my hands around like a monkey. I don't want anyone to know what I am doing, I just wanna ride up and look good :) I will get there, thanks to this group and MF I have no doubts about it. I never thought this weight loss would happen to me.
Last night my husband and Iwent out with some friends. I haven't seen them in a while and she was like my God Elke, your arms look so small. That was the second time that day I heard that. No the down fall to that is I have always felt like I had long skinny arms, like rubber arms, I hate that and I'm not sure how to feel about them coming back :|
