EGGS?

Can we have egg in place of lean meat as a change?
If so, how many?

I switch to the plan where I can eat one small meal on the weekend, but the meat thing gets tired quick and I don't want to just use the packaged meals all the time.

One night I was boiling eggs for church and I just WANTED one of those eggies so badly. I often make :angel: :angel: "angeled eggs" :angel: :angel: for church - now I would NEVER wanna serve :twisted: deviled :twisted: :twisted: eggs at church, ya know what I mean?


I fixed a nice salad of spinach, red onion, a bit of cucumber and two hard boiled eggs. Eggs work fine on occasion if a person has no cholesterol probs. Women can have a protein serving of 4-5 ounces, men 6-7 ounces. Keep in mind the calories in a lean meat serving - that's why I chose two hard boiled eggs in place of the meat serving. I wouldn't have it every day but once in a while it should be fine. Men could most likely get away with three eggs.

Happy about the eggs

Hey all
I am soooo glad to hear that we CAN (once in a while) have eggs...oh how I love eggs!! hard boiled in salad is soooo yummy and they are so good for you if you dont eat them all the time!! lol!! Nancy you made my day... :-P
