ascicles: My advice if you want it, is go on vacation, have fun, enjoy yourself, don't fret over food, if you want it eat it. Come friday, jump back on the wagon, it will just be another week or two before you reach your goal.

That's the plan. I'm going to choose healthier options than I would have pre-diet, but otherwise, I'm just going to have fun.

I'm curious though, when I return, can I expect to lose at a similar pace as I did in my first week on Medifast? Honestly though, I lost just as much this week as I did in my first.

I have been too busy at school and work to check this 4 page thread, but I have to say I would do the same thing.. I don't know, but I would prefer to enjoy what my vacation destination has to offer if I saved up for a year to go away for a few days. Just like birthdays are always gonna be there, so too, will jumping back on Medifast.

I will be going to Las Vegas also in May........7th-14th! I too have been wondering HOW I will be able to stay on the MF plan while I am up there. My best friend and I never leave the room until around noonish and then we are gone all day long. I thought about ordering some RTD Shakes and keep them in the Car in a cooler and If I need to I can drink one before going in the casinos.......I don't know. I HOPE I can figure it all out. It will be so hard because my friend is SO Tiny and eats EVERYTHING in site when we go to Vegas, SO this will be hard also. But I sure Hope and Pray I can do this. It will be a LONG week.

Is your friend supportive? That will help. In some ways, it's easier with a friend who eats all the time. I have thin friends who eat every few hours, so it works out perfectly with Medifast. They just eat a lot MORE than I do, but at least we can eat at the same time.

I'd love to. I love Vegas, but I don't think it's in the cards anytime soon, unfortunately. Come on out to Texas, and you can stay in the guest room of my new house! Three weeks till closing.

And what's on my list for stuff to bring over the first day, before I even move in? Toilet paper, paper towels and soap, of course, but also bottled water, a supply of Medifast and a shaker jar. So there's no excuse while I'm unpacking stuff and taking down wallpaper. The kitchen has two pantries: one for Medifast and water, one for everything else.

I don't think I need a shaker, but I guess I'll take a cheerleader. Only if you wear the outfit though!

Nothing like a chubby cheerleader

Postby gillian » April 8th, 2006, 12:06 pm

ascicles,

Honestly, me in a cheerleader outfit is nothing you want to see yet! But, if you would like to come back in July, I WILL be at a pool somewhere in a small swimsuit!!! (Hope no one is puking right now...)
Common! Im gonna shake for ya!!!! With a shaker of course- dirty brains!

It appears this thread has taken on a life of its own. I beg your forgiveness Unca Tim!

you all are just too funny. My hubby says I am becoming addicted to these forums. He said that medifast sites are now my "myspace" like my kids have...lol...anyways, Gillian, it would be awesome if you really do get to meet ascicles! Take him a shake or a bowl of oatmeal and keep him on track. Ascicles, remember, if you have no MF products sometimes you can have 8 oz of skim milk, so maybe that might be an option for ya! Good luck, and have a fun time in Vegas!
