Yippee

Postby Joan Roman » March 6th, 2005, 11:12 am

I just love being around a bunch of LOSERS! :D Everybody is working hard. I know there will be some people looking pretty fine in a swimsuit this summer!

I'm down 3 pounds this week yippee! :D And.....I'm at the lowest weight I have ever been as an adult! Yahoo! Not at goal but still....I'm proud! ;)

Last week I put on a pair of uniform pants (I'm a teacher and we have to wear uniforms) that I was wearing in January and they were enormous!
My daughter saw them and laughed...she said you have on grandma's pants! She thought we had a laundry mix up! She couldn't believe it when I showed her they were mine! Anyway...I'm gonna keep at it!

Good Shakin all of you this week! ;)

What a bunch of losers!! That's so great!

I am down 3.5 this week, for a total of 25. Woo hoo! Soon it will actually be noticeable to others, but for now, I am trying on clothes that didn't fit and finding that now they do. Yeah!

Have a good week, all you losers!!!

Everyone is doing so well and I'm feeling kind of guilty. I have had a few cheats here and there. I don't think I have been knocked out of ketosis, though. I mean I haven't had any hunger.

This is my first time posting on this Sunday weigh in. I have lost 1.5 lbs. this week for a total of 15 lbs. so far. From now on, I will stick to the plan 100%, including weekends! I am rejoining Curves this week. My treadmill is not working and it's still too cold outside to walk. I think exercise and no cheats will speed up my losses!

Keep up the good work everyone! Spring is right around the corner!!!

hi

Postby NikkiNix » March 6th, 2005, 4:13 pm

Hi All,

Thought I would post for the first time in forever. I restarted the program Jan 4, 2005 after I had attempted to lose weight on MF last year and then got detoured and ended up going off the program and gaining all the weight I lost plus 10lb back. Anyway I decieded to get back on the horse and I finally made it to the 40lb mark so if you can bump me up Unca I would appreciate it. Also wanted to say Happy belated B-Day to Unca. What does that make him this year 28 ;) . I couldn't have done it without all the people on this forum for support and encouragement and I also wanted to say a special thanks to Nancy for all the help she gave to keep me on track.

Warm Fuzzies all around,
Thanks Nikki

40lbs in 10 weeks isn't so bad :D
Today is the first day of the rest of my life!

Hi all! Congrats to everybody for doing so well this week. You are all an inspiration to me-- I mean it!

I didn't lose this week, but it was worth it for the valuable lesson I learned. I experimented this week with a "modified" MF prgram in which I was eating 5 times a day (an MF packet plus some added calories, such as FF yogurt, at some meals) and having a "normal" dinner (i.e., lean, green, but with carbs-- and in bigger quantities!). I wanted to see if I could lose or maintain my post-Vegas weight without having to go back to MF full time. Well, as I am now 130.6 (a full 5 pounds heavier than last week!), I think I discovered the answer to my own question!

It's frustrating to think that eating 1500 calories a day makes me gain weight, despite exercising, but I never really gave my body a chance to ease back into food after blasting it with many sinful dishes in Vegas a couple weeks ago with no warning. Sooo... I need to get back on the MF train 100%, get to 125, then gradually transition-- the right way!!-- so that my body can figure out what the heck is going on. Tomorrow is Day One. Again!

I'm just glad that, despite the mistakes and the gain, I caught it before it got out of control, and I'm glad that I have MF, and you guys, to get me straight! Here's to a great week for everyone-- happy slurping! 125 or bust!

Postby lov2travl » March 7th, 2005, 12:43 am

Hi everybody,
I am down 3lbs this week. I had a really rough couple of days at work and I seem to keep forgetting to eat packets. I work a very active, high stress job and I'm thinking maybe I should order medifast 70. What do you think. Anyway," keep on keep'in on". VG

P.S. My goal this week is to put my scale in the trunk of my car so I will stay off of it until Sunday!!! ...I'm not kidding..!! VG

Just a quick follow-up since I am one of the early birds to say CONGRATULATIONS to all who were successful or kept a positive attitude!

I also wanted to let everyone know today is my 1 mo. milemarker. I weighed again just to see what 1 month brought and I lost another .5 lb so I officially lost 15 lbs in my first month! I'll take it!! :D

Happy shakin' :exercise:

I was away from the computer most of the weekend and am just now weeding thru all the posts and finally got to the roll call.

Congrats to all the losses this week. Wish I could say the same, but alas I am having a stubburn week. No loss, 192 and holding.

The only thing different in my plan has been not as much walking because the weather was snowy again last week.. other than that, I have had a very stressful week but remained compliant...so instead of food, my body must be holding on to the fat for comfort.

Oh well, maybe that will give me a big loss this coming Sunday.
