The other night at work I was trying to help out the girls by folding napkins for the night, I was standing with my back to the restaurant when I heard 'Excuse me miss"....it was one of my regular customers I hadn't seen in a while. He asked "Are you the waitress?". I was like "huh?". Then he said, "I just wondered if you were the same waitress we had had before?" I said "Of course I totally missed you guys" (thinking he was just messing around cuz I hadn't seen them for about 2 months". Then he said "Oh my god, we (he and his wife) didn't recognize you, where did the rest of you go?".

Now, I am still very bad at recieving compliments, so I stood there with my head down like a shy Japanese school girl, but let me tell ya....it felt sooooo good. It's one thing for my BF to tell me I look good (but he HAS to...lol). But when a virtual stranger says it...man, I was on cloud 9, 10 and 11.

My other NSV was yesterday, I went shopping for some shorts and capris since the weather has been so unbearable. Tried on 14's, since I have been wearing them for the last few weeks. TOO BIG!!! Bought size 12 shorts and jeans!!!! I almost broke down in the dressing room!!! Now since last night my BF keeps saying "Guess what?" and I'm like "What?" so he replies "Your wearing size 12!!!". He's such a nice boy....lol.

Yeah! And what a good BF! I have to say that I was elated myself yesterday...I bought some pants at Costco and I got 14's. You can't try them on at Costco, so I had to wait til I got home. I was excited because they fit a little too well and I know that I'm losing and would only be able to wear them for a month, so I'm going to have to take them back for 12's. Guess what? I'm gonna buy size 12's!!!

Yay for both of you!!! I'm really looking forward to my shopping excursion in a few weeks. Time to buy my goal size - or possibly lower my goal size by one.

Congrats on the NSV's. Aren't they just the best feeling in the whole wild world, especially when they come from strangers...
