Thanks ladies for the MBT information, I'll have to check those out when it is time to buy the next pair. I have some nice shoes, my problem is a crack in my heel but it's improving.

I weighed in this morning and have lost 2 lbs. in the past 4 days but will probably change my ticker on Tuesday morning which will be the end of my 4th week.

Congratulations to everyone on their weight losses.

Thanks T! I decided to go ahead and change my ticker weight and start weighing in each Sunday with everyone else. This evening I overdid it on my L&G but I'm not going to stress over it.

I had a NSV this weekend. I returned a pair of sz. 22 denim bermuda shorts that I bought and wore right before I started Medifast. I had already ordered a pair of sz 20's and I wore the 20's today, they are too big. I was so excited! I know that a lot of you are getting into 16s, 14s and 12s and I cannot wait for that too, but I was so happy to be able to say that those 20s were too big. So I think tomorrow I'll order a pair of 18's. Maybe I'll be out of those when I go to Colorado the first of August (that would be so nice).

I'll be packing today to go down to the coast. I'm not really a hot weather or 'beachy' person but the rest of my family enjoys the surf and sand. I hope it stops raining long enough here in TX so that we can enjoy ourselves. Actually, I believe if I was not so heavy I wouldn't mind getting in a bathingsuit. We will see what next summer brings because I'm going to be in much better shape.

I stayed up late last night watching tv and looking at the Speigel web site. I have always wanted to be able to shop there; they have some really cute clothes.

Hope everyone has a great day!

!

I was kind of self-conscious about my bathing suit but there were very few skinny girls that didn't have at least a little cellulite on the back of their legs. (And if I do say so my self, I had the cutest suit.) You can get very cute skirt cover-ups to wear with your suit at very reasonable prices. Or even wear a very stretchy mini-skirt. I saw a lot of girls in tankinis with little skirts.

Hi Donna! Sounds like you are really doing well with your weight loss! WOW! Isn't it great to be moving down in sizes? It's one of those NSV's you hear so much about. I started in a size 24W and now my 12 petites are too large! This will happen for you too--just hang in there and continue to do what you are doing. You will be one hot babe on the beach next summer!! :D

I just wish I were like you Mary. I started off in baggy 26's and 24's that fit and now I am still in size 16 and 14 on the bottom. I wear a medium shirt but that bottom size is still so big!

We had a wonderful time on vacation and thankfully the weather turned out perfect for us. I was worried for a while because of all the rain on the way down but it was clear weather for us each day. I relaxed and even read a book, (The Ranch), which I haven't been able to do in a while.

I sort of stayed on program with the exception of eating a little more protein than I should have at meals. The protein was lean protein so I didn't feel too bad about it. It was really difficult watching everyone else snack and drink (those bloody mary's sure looked good) but I stayed very strong and just thought ahead to what next summer is going to be like. My husband and kids can't believe how strong I'm being on this program and all of them keep telling me how proud of me they are; this really helps to keep me going.

I have a very busy week planned since I have to get ready to host a family reunion at my house this coming weekend. I really would much rather work out in my yard and let everyone else clean the house but I know it isn't going to be like that. Our grass is nearly knee high with all the rain we have been having; I think I need a hay bailer for the yard.

Guess I will weigh in tomorrow since I missed this past Sunday. Hope I lost something, or at least didn't gain. I'm going to go read through some journals while I drink my coffee. Hope everyone has a great day!

Welcome back Donna and congratulations on making wise choices (extra protein instead of snacking or bloody mary's).

Donna - so glad to hear that you had a nice vacation and that you were able to stay compliant. Watching others enjoy the foods that got us into trouble can be difficult - yet rewarding. You are doing such a great job.

I hope you have a good weight loss tomorrow. And your reunion sounds like fun.

Glad you had a good vacation and had fair weather. You are so right about needing a bailer to cut grass! :roflmao: We have had more rain in Dallas during this time of year than I can remember in the 17 years I lived here!

It's wonderful that you are getting all that support from your family too! Probably the most meaningful affirmation we get is from those who love us!

Keep on shakin' girl! You are doing great! :cleader: :cheermed: ! :cleader:
