Yes, more vacations, that sounds good!

I started my exercise very slow. I started out just walking every other day or so. Do what you can. If it is only 5 minutes at first, it is still a start. Just stay with it and add a little bit more time each walk. Before you know it you'll be up to 30 minutes or more. Pretty soon you'll look forward to your walk.

I find it does so much more for me than just get in exercise, it helps my self esteem. It is a good time to clear the cobwebs and have some time alone, get in a little positive self talk. It also makes me feel good about myself to know I am taking consistent steps towards better health...and a better bod! I just feel better all day when I walk in the mornings. When I got to the point I was walking everyday I really started seeing an increase in my energy level and also the way my clothes fit.

So just put one foot in front of the other. You can do it!

If you want a cyber walking buddy I'm your girl! :stroll:

Hey Mickey, I would love a cyber walking buddy. I really enjoy walking too but its been hard for me lately to get up and get out there to do it. Maybe next week after I get thru this family reunion I'll give it a shot. I know that I always felt so much better after my morning walks.

Donna, thanks for the input in my journal. I do have baby gates that I can close to keep the babies in certain areas of the house. It helps a lot to give them some freedom but also keeping them in a safe area under my watchful eye. :) Hope you have a great day.

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend with your family.

Thanks Micky for checking in on me; I'm a little tired but that's mainly from staying up so late each night. Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun and we are all looking forward to next years reunion.

By the way, I love your avatar!

(Copy of post from the weight room)
I cheated this weekend :( . I hate that I did it but darn it was hard doing all the preparing of the food by myself. I had a few french fries on Friday, a few bites of chips and dips Saturday night and a PB&J yesterday. It wasn't terribly bad but the fact still remains that I cheated. Oh, well, I'm back on track today and I'm out of the original 100 day challenge.

We went to the movie theatre on Saturday and I was so good.....drank my tea, had a salad; I even took my own salad dressing in a little container and used it. I didn't feel too bad about the small cheats but yesterday evening, after everyone left, I was so tired and not in a very good mood (probably from thinking about my previous cheats). I fixed my grandbaby a PB&J and she wouldn't eat it, so I did. Couldn't believe I did it but at the time I just didn't care and I had the mentality of 'I'll start over tomorrow'. So.........tomorrow is here and I'm back on track.

These things happen, Donna. We wish they wouldn't, and it would probably be better for us if they didn't, but that's life. Keep on the 100-day challenge - you're just starting back at day 1 but I think there should ALWAYS be a 100-day challenge running for anyone who wants to give it a go!

Glad you are back on track. I understand the allure of jam sammiches. They were my nemesis for a while. But you can do it!

Thanks ladies for the encouragement. I'm just bummed that I was off program. I'm back on and will start my 100 days over as of today.

Fatigue can really get the best of us sometimes. Plus you were probably out of ketosis so the temptation was just that much stronger.

Don't beat yourself up. You're back on track now and that's what counts!

Well I weighed in this morning (end of 6 weeks) and I lost another 4 lbs. last week. That makes 24.5 lbs. that I never want to see again. I'll write more later, I need to get ready for a dr. appt.
