Am I doing something wrong?

Postby chanceaway » April 9th, 2006, 8:37 am

This is my third day of mf and I have not had any of the bad things like headaches that I read usually happen to you in the first three days. Does everyone go through the first few days feeling sick, or am I not doing something right? This is an example of what I have been eating. 8a.m. shake, 11 a.m. cream of chicken soup, 2 p.m. a bar 5 p.m. salad and fish or chicken my salad dressing has 4 grams of fat for 2 tablesspoons and I measure them I bake the chicken or fish also. 7 p.m. pudding 9p.m. Shake. What am I doing wrong? :?: :?: :?:

Angela,

sounds like you are doing just fine, maybe you are just a lucky girl who doesn't have to go through all the yucky stuff.

I am sure everyone is different in this program. I know I had headaches the first 4 days, but found that if I got enough water and enough sleep, they were not a problem. Maybe you are just doing great....

Be happy, and Good Luck..... you are well on your way.....

You could pound your head on the wall or something, if you'd like a headache....:)

You're doing just fine. Not everyone has a rough first few days.
Keep a shakin',

Today is my 4th day, and the only time I felt sick in my first 3 days was when I drank the Banana Shake... but that was just my tastebuds revolting :)
From everything I've read, you & I are amongst a lucky few who haven't suffered any of the potential "side effects" that plague many in the first few days of this diet - we should start our own little happy club lol
Congratulations on making it through the first 2 days, I know you're going to do great!

Errr, "revolting" is the right word, if you ask me. I hate the shakes. And I've never had the headaches or anything else, either. I figured it was because I've been in ketosis for years, thanks to Atkins.

I was like you. After my first three days, I was wondering why I didn't feel the horrible hunger and headaches that everyone mentions. It seems that some of us are just lucky enough to not have them.

I did have a bad headache on the fourth day, but it went away rather quickly. Since then, I've been extremely hungry once (a few days ago, after about a month). I haven't experienced anymore headaches.
