I think I have a better chance of finding someone for the firewood at this point.

Hi Robin,
It was a funny coincidence......I was reading your post about you wearing your JeanStar jeans. I had never heard of that brand before and I just turned on the T.V. a little while ago and the H.S.N channel is showing the whole JeansStar collection (tops and bottoms). They have all the different styles of jeans available. You name it they have it. They also have all different washes, cuts, and colors. Alot of variety! The woman said that JeansStar jeans are by Gloria Vanderbilt and this is only the second showing they have ever had on H.S.N. for JeansStar jeans. They appear to be designed to really flatter a woman's body well, no matter what shape you are and they look very comfortable. The price is right too! I actually was tempted to order some, but I don't want to buy any new jeans right now and waste my money. I'll weight until I lose some more weight and then treat myself. Just wanted to let you know in case you weren't aware that they are now available on H.S.N. I will be trying them once I reach goal weight! Well...I'm going back to see the rest of the program! :D

oh, cool, thanks for the tip! i'll have to look there when/if i finally drop down that last size. (and it's funny, cause the ones i got are a 6 and fit great. but my gloria vanderbilt capris are a 4 and they're actually a little looser, i think. guess you never can tell with jeans.)

127.6, on my apparently once-weekly day of sandbox issues, so hopefully that means I'll be down even more tomorrow. Did treadmill today, at 3.5/3.8/4.2/4.8/5.3, all at a 2 incline. Yay, me!

Also found someone to take the firewood, although he can't come for it till early next week. I don't think rodents will get in there that quickly. Will they? I'm staying away from it till he comes.

Food's about the same. I'm going to stay at around 1,000 calories a bit longer, since things seem to be going well. Maybe till I hit 125, then try increasing a bit more. But I really would like to get down even lower than my original goal, to maybe 120. Don't tell my family or they'll freak out.

Great Job

Postby KimKim » October 27th, 2006, 9:35 pm

Robin,

This is great. I remember when you announced that you were stopping at your goal and that you would lose the rest of the 5lbs with exercise and transition/maintainence. This seems to have worked out so well for you and congratulations!

You inspired me to tap into my exercise bunny again and it has been wonderful. I at least feel strong again. I lost some of the weight on MF but I did feel "blah" for a while but it's not MF's fault, it's mine, as I waited three or four months before jumping into exercise and they clearly suggest you get into after ONE month, so shame on me and yiippeee that I finally jumped on.

So, was your original goal at 130 and now you're going to 120 or what?

You're so tiny, it's amazing,

Original goal was 125, so I still have a couple of pounds to go for that. I should be there in a week or so. I think.

128.0 with a slight sandbox issue still that's making me feel a little bloated. Last night I had to change my meal plan a little because I couldn't finish my chicken at dinner. Subbed a BFL bar for my soy crisps for the extra calories and protein.

Tonight for dinner I'm going to have the same spinach-egg-cheese thing I made a few nights ago when I was home.

Workout is gym, lower body.

Ah, I'm clearer Robin. Well, good for you, you will definitely make it to goal. I saw Egg Beaters at Sam's and thought of you. I didn't look too closely at it, though . . . is it just egg whites or not really eggs or what?

It's not just egg whites, but it is made with eggs. I think it's egg whites with something added. I don't know for sure. But I like the taste better than just egg whites. It's more like real eggs.

So I think I just bailed on the gym today. I need to schedule my errands a little better. I'm going to approximate my workout at home, though. The trainer has me using fewer machines and more free weights, so it should be manageable.

Great job Robin!

Just FYI, Monday I join you in the gym. It will be 6 weeks, so my metabolism should be kickin' in and my butt definitely needs some lunges and squats or it's gonna drift to the back of my knees.

In advance, I'm sharing my pain. The worst is the first two weeks. I'll do cardio at an incline also to move the junk to the top of the trunk anyway.

I'm lifting light though, so hopefully won't mess up the Medifast balance. Just thought I'd let you know you have a exercise partner!

Aw, now I feel bad about not going today. Not that I wasn't already feeling guilty about it. Sigh. But it was SO nice to just curl up on the couch and watch a movie.

Good for you for getting moving, though. I stopped losing every time I tried to work out while on the program, but I'm not exactly typical.

128.0 again. Did the treadmill at 3.5/3.8/4.2/4.8/5.2.

ETA: I just looked at FitDay. Turns out I was higher than usual on sodium yesterday, so given my propensity for bloat, I'm guessing that's what it is today.

Wound up making today free day. Pad thai and potstickers for dinner, with maybe a little pre-Halloween candy later on.

Next week I'm saving my free day for later in the week, though. Definitely.

I'm beginning to almost hate free day. Maybe I should cut back and not have it every week. I've had way too much chocolate, and now I feel a little sick. Sigh.

I think part of it is having free day when I'm working. Next week I'm having it on my night off instead. And no sugar next week. How can chocolate taste so good and yet make me so miserable? :x
