I am ordering mine at the end of the week. They are on sale even more than earlier this month! I can't wait to see how many calories I burn during yoga-it kicked my booty this morning!

Are they less than $199 now? Cool!!

And geez, I don't know why I didn't realize till now that you live in McKinney. We're practically neighbors! I think I assumed you were in Oklahoma. :)

So today I was 126.8 again. I feel very bloated, even though I haven't had much sodium, but I think it's the stupid heat and humidity. So I'm just waiting it out. But I took the day off from the treadmill, since I haven't had one in a couple of weeks and my ankle is acting up a little. Of course, that means I don't get to eat much today, but at least I had some bigger deficits the past couple of days so I won't have to COMPLETELY starve myself.

Do you think you'll use the BodyBugg forever? Or is it just a tool that you're using right now to help you take off the weight that you've been wanting to for so long? I'm just curious - for instance, if you used it for maybe a month after reaching 120 and got used to how you have to eat and exercise to maintain, would you pack it up?

I'm not sure yet, but I've been thinking about it. It came with six months on the Web site, so I figure I'll use it for the six months, which hopefully will give me time to hit 120 and maintain for a bit. And then I'm thinking I might just set it aside for a while and maybe go for a month on the Web site every three or four months, just to keep myself in check. And obviously wear it again full time if I see a gain or anything.

I can't see wearing a black band on my arm forEVER, though. Not all the time, anyway.

Well, it sounds like it's a tool that's going to be very useful for you in particular. I'm glad you're going to hang on to it. Although as vigilant as you seem to be, I doubt you'll ever need it because of a gain!!

Well, heck, I've gained before, so I can gain again. I just was able to stop it before it got out of hand, so I only had to lose 6 pounds to get back to my original goal.

Aaaanyway, I was up to 128.2 today, I'm assuming because I ate at a new Turkish place last night. I was pretty good, but I'm sure it was salty.

Today was better, although I had one of my little fat-free pizzas, which tend to push my weight up a little, too. Had a date, too, though (but no eating; all I had was a Diet Coke, and we hung out for a while and talked, then went to Dave & Buster's to play some games, then walked around Cost Plus World Market so we could talk a little longer).

I wound up burning some extra calories, so I'm pretty free to eat tonight. Not that I've gone crazy, but I added some extra fruit as a little treat.

Hi Robin, sounds like it was a nice date 8) . I've been secretly wondering how the love life is treatin' you lately :). It's hard to try new things eating-wise, when every little partial pound matters ! But, it's good if you have some sense of why things are fluctuating, and you handle it so well, it seems ! I hope the scale goes back the other direction for you !

So ... are we back? The text seems kinda small, especially the names on posts.

Anyway, 126.6 today, so back where I was before I went to Austin. So that's good news. I got that new EA Sports Active for the Wii from Costco and tried it last night, and it kicked my butt. Which is also sort of good news, except that I'm sore today.

Not much else to report. The guy e-mailed me a little yesterday morning, but I was busy and my responses were kind of short. Haven't heard from him since, and I don't seem to really care. I think, once again, he was far more into me than I was into him. Nice enough, but that's about it. And his prior bankruptcy and current status (living in an apartment with almost no furniture, from what he said) doesn't help much. Not that I'm that into money, but I do want someone who can afford to do the same things I can afford (and like to do), like the theater and the occasional nice dinner. So we'll see.

yeah....we're back...sorta.
Still running some tests and making sure everything is working.

Some of the text is a bit small. I may play with it, once I'm sure everything is working structurally.

Cool. Are the avatars and stuff going to stay on the right side instead of the left? I'm sure some of it will just take getting used to (but I've never seen that on a bulletin board before, so it just looks weird!).

That's the default setting. I'm not sure if it's a matter of clicking a button to swap sides, or I'd have to get into recoding it.

I haven't got that far yet.
We'll have to get used to it, for now....:)

Okie doke. I just wondered. Thanks, Tim. I'm guessing this wasn't an easy weekend for you!

No, from the amount the boards were off-line I'm betting it was pretty hectic for our dear Unca. We appreciate your efforts! The new stuff will take some getting used to but I think visually it's a lot nicer. Seems more 21st century somehow. :D

Robin, if you ever get sick of your Wii (!) or are feeling generous and want to buy everyone on the boards a present, that's what I want. My brother had a yard sale this weekend (moving sale) and we got a lot of neat stuff, but sadly the Wii was not for sale.

I'm glad you're back to pre-Austin weight and feeling good about it. 125, here you come!!

From your lips, Nicks ...

And I'll keep that in mind about the Wiis, if I ever have a bunch of money laying around. ;)

126.6 again today, but I'm even more sore than I was yesterday. The good news is that means my muscles are holding onto some fluid, some hopefully as the soreness eases, the scale will be friendlier. I still managed to go almost 5 miles on the treadmill, at an incline, this morning. Although the first five minutes or so, till my muscles warmed up and stretched a bit, were torture. Right now I can't sit or stand without holding onto something.

Oh, and library guy is e-mailing again. Although I'm busy with work and he's not saying anything of interest, so it's getting harder and harder to respond without sounding irritated.

That's it for me right now. I'm on a break to eat my snack (which is why I have time to post when I just said I didn't have time to e-mail), so I'm going to try to read a couple of other journals before I get back to the stupid school catalog I'm editing.

126.4 today, so a tiny drop. But I'm still sore, so I'm hoping for more of a drop as my muscles recover.

Not much else to report today. I tried to run, but couldn't because all the impact was killing my sore tushy. But I cranked up the incline a little more to make up for it. I didn't burn as many calories as I would have with a run, but at least it was more than yesterday. And I'm less sore than I was, so I'm walking faster at work, too, which should help.

Haven't heard from online guy since sometime yesterday, which is fine with me since he was actually boring me to tears yesterday. Oh, and I got my Skechers Shape-Ups that the store ordered for me over the weekend, so I'm trying them today. They're supposed to be like MBTs (and I think Reebok makes a version now, too), where they mimic a soft surface like sand, so your legs work harder when you walk. We'll see if they make any difference. I've read from doctors that they don't, but I also know some people who swear by them. So far, they definitely feel different.
